  1. It is a pretty low action. I don't like high actions. I will try and get some pics of the action. Unable to do video or sound at the moment. Cheers G
  2. Decided to pop this one back up as one (or two) of my dream basses has become available.
  3. Will consider trades for other Strymon pedals too. Cheers G
  4. Price drop to £2350. WIll make one heck of a Christmas present! Regards G!
  5. Strymon Orbit Flanger pedal - Probably the best sounding Flanger I have heard, even more so when used in stereo. Good condition with just a few very minor signs of usage. No box, psu or manual. Just the pedal as it is pictured. Postage £5 or pickup from Sheffield. Cheers G
  6. T-Rex Chameleon Fuel Tank Pedal Power supply unit in excellent condition. Was only used on a home studio board, so never gigged etc. Includes some power cables for pedals too and the original box. Most outputs can be configured for 9v or 12vdc another can run 9v or 18 vdc and one can run 12vac. Each output is individually isolated, so if you have any pedals that are particularly sensitive when sharing power, then this should solve it (assuming its a power related issue). 300ma per output at 9v. £5 postage or collection from Sheffield
  7. Yer, the market is very slow. Well, drop me a message... Maybe we can work something out? Cheers G
  8. Yer, I can't believe its still here to be honest. Such a nice bass. I guess more people with less disposable income is the key. Regards G
  9. Last few days before it gets traded in... Serious offers considered Regards G
  10. Bumping back up after a sale fell through. Still interested in trades or cash, or combination there of. Cheers G
  11. Will take £1400 for a quick sale as I have my eye on something else. Still will consider trades, but cash would be preferred. Cheers G
  12. Price drop to £2500. Keep the trade offers coming too. Trade plus cash my way is an option. Regards G
  13. No Problem. Obviously, you could always fit another pre to it, but I've not found it lacking at all without the mid control. I guess it depends what kind of sounds you are wanting to be able to get, and what you expect out of a J type bass? Regards G
  14. Cheers, yer, it is a nice bass, but just not me... The East Pre I think is Bass/Treble stacked nob, with a 'bright' push/pull too. Don't know which model pre this is though? I will have to pull it out and have another look to confirm? Haven't had it out for a while. Regards G
  15. This needs to go to a good home, and I need to repair some stuff, so dropped the price for the very last time. Trades still considered, though ideally with cash my way. Regards G
  16. FInal price drop for quick sale... Need the cash for other things.
  17. No problem... Sadly its a regular theme that pops up on many sale threads... Times are hard, and gigs are harder. Rock on! G
  18. Hi there, Yes, the bass is still available, but its collection only. No shipping. Regards G
  19. Thanks for the info. I had a Shuker pre put in it recently, as its a pre I know and trust from my, er, Shukers. Wasn't a Shack in there beforehand, though, but rather a Sadowsky... Obviously that could have been replaced at any point along the way? Its one of those basses that will be sorely missed, but life etc... You know the drill! Regards G!
  20. So had a look around, and can't find any knobs here for the concentric pot. As mentioned though, they shouldn't be too hard to get a concentric pot set of knobs off eBay or from a musical instrument dealer. So the preamp is sold as pictured above with no knobs. Regards G!
  21. Had some interesting offers so far... Nothing has bitten yet... Keep them coming! Cheers G!
  22. I hadn't thought about those... I will have a look and see if I have any knobs for the stack, however, I have found many on ebay before. Shouldn't be too hard to find? Regards G!
  23. Selling this Sadowsky on board preamp. Came out of another bass recently, and all was working fine at that time. It will require another pot or two to complete the setup, depending on your requirements from it, and a battery lead too. I do not have the wiring diagram on paper, but found a pic of one online which I have attached to this post. Has a push/pull active/passive pot, and a stacked bass/treble. Based in Sheffield, though can post for £5 (2nd class Signed for) if required. Cheers G!
  24. Yer, I didn't think it would make much of a difference, but having played a number of 35" scales over the years, this one doesn't feel that much different to my 34"s. Maybe its nothing to do with the zero fret at all (this is the first one I've played with a zero), but for whatever reason I find it feels to me more like a 34" scale. You are welcome to come take a look, I'm near the Hillsborough area. Message me if you are keen? Regards G!
  25. Up for grabs is my Sei Jazz 5 string bass. Made by Martin Petersen at the Bass Gallery. I believe its either a 2004 or 2007 model, but I am unsure about this? Suggested below it could be from 2002... Specs as follows.... 34" Scale Swamp ash body with tiger maple top Maple neck (highly figured) with Birdseye maple fretboard Bartolini J pickups Shuker 3 band preamp - Volume (push/pull for active/passive), Pan, Mid (sweep control inside cavity), Bass/treble stack. Rosewood control knobs Weight is around 3.9Kg. This is a bass that has been used by several owners, and as a result has some minor bumps and marks. I have tried to photograph the worst. None of them effect the playing of this instrument, and its is very comfortable and easy to play. Frets are even and look in decent condition, however, they are very shallow, so I do not know if this is the way it was made, or someone got a little too excited while crowning the frets.. Its still plays well, however, if you prefer medium frets, you may want to consider a refret? This would be about £200 to £250 depending who did it and what you had done? The bass has no case, so I would advise bringing one should you decide to buy it. Its been a great bass for me for the past two years, but needs must. Collection from Sheffield, or will meet within reasonable distance. Sometimes around the Liverpool and Kendal areas too. May consider partial/full trades for similar level custom 5's (Shuker/Sei/Goodfellow/Mayones/etc) or bass gear (PJB Compact 8/Vanderkley/Markbass 210 etc), but ideally cash for this one.
