1.
I was initially hesitant about the EQ options but was very surprised that you can get a lot of tone with just the VPF/VLE, from clean funk, warm soul, defined rock, and dubbing reggae...brilliant combo
The 150 watts is powerful enough to gig
 2.
Superb amps these, I've been using one with a 7 piece functions band without an extension cab for a while now and i still have to turn it down - i'm sure the wattage is an under estimate as they're really bloody loud, never fart out, and a great tone too. GLWTS
Really wow that sounds impressive

 18.
I prefer the PF setup to a combo like this. I wasn't a fan of the EQ stage of a BA type combo (forget the exact model) and when Ampeg try to get cute in that respect, they come up short, IMO. You should check it out but for me Ampeg struggle a lot against the competition.. or rather they aren't recognisable Ampeg at this pricepoint. But then again, I'm not a fan of the SVT 3 either, I'd far rather a tonehammer (by a considerable margin) but you are talking different money.
If I had a bigger budget I would have went for something else, but it's good for the money
