2. Ok I have: Warmoth Jazz body White/Tort guard (couple nicks and scrapes but altogether pretty good condition) [s]£120[/s] SOLD Bad Ass 2 Bridge (pre-filed) £40 Nordstrand NJ4SV pickups (brand new) [s]£90[/s] SOLD Sadowsky Pre-Amp with VTC (brand new) [s]£120[/s] SOLD WD Music lined ebony neck (brand new, still in its box) [s]£180[/s] SOLD Will sell the whole lot for £525. Alot of cash went into this setup, but in the end I just never could afford to finish it - That and I decided a fretless stingray would suit my needs better Pics coming soon.
3.
1577 + my 5 = 1852
I guess you mean 1582
4. £725 POSTED TODAY ONLY
5. Hah, sorry Ben, I'd ideally like to sell at this point, unless it's a fretless stingray up for trade Cheers James
6. Oh Kev!! I've said it before, but I'll say it again - That bass is gorgeous. I seriously wish I had the cash for this one. Your green Nordy 5 is still the best 5 string I think I've ever played.
7. Trades considered: Fretless Stingray 4/5 Sadowsky Metro MV/RV4 Jazz Bass of some sort MIJ/CIJ Precision + cash
8. Get a rig that can handle the gig without PA support
9.
How about just blaming it on the rest of the band? Unless it is a solo bass piece, in which case you can shoulder all the blame, the essence of a great bass part is that it works as part of the whole ensemble. Learning a part so well that you could be transmogrified back to the recording session and fill in for the original bassist still isn't going to mean it sounds awesome if the rest of the band haven't been so diligent with nailing their parts. Even if you get the bassline note for note and beat for beat there's still going to be chafing if the other parts don't fit equally tightly. Wulf
+1. Very good post. I find most of Pino's stuff very challenging, especially Tear Your Playhouse Down....That guy is something else.
10. Cheers Simon £745 posted.

13. Akai sold - Thanks Wayne. Barge still available!
14.
Just wondering if you'd be interested in selling it without the J-retro fitted?
I would...But it came with the J-Retro pre-installed, so I don't have the original passive control plate. Up to you! Cheers James
15.
Lovely bass and James is a top guy...come on someone grab this bass, Laklands are great instruments. Good luck with the sale!
Cheers mate!
16. Really need a quick sale here folks. £750 POSTED.
17. Impressive stuff, I admire the technique and how far people are willing to take it, but not my cup of tea really. I'd prefer him to be hittin up some Jamerson grooves, and then I'd decide how good he really is a BASS player
18. Thanks mate! Ok DEFINITELY up for sale now. £750 + postage.
19. Bump with prices dropped again. Someone must need this Barge pedal!!
20. Hi mate, bass weighs about 9lbs using the old "weigh yourself with and without the bass" on the bathroom scales. Cheers
21.
Ok, just a feeler as I'm not sure I want to get rid of it. It's a Lakland Skyline DJ4 in white pearl, with Tort scratchplate (I have the original white one too). It's got Aero Pickups, and J-Retro pre-amp. Also has a Hipshot Detuner installed (I've got the original tuning key but I'd prefer to keep it for a project bass, although if you wanted it I would keep the Detuner instead). It'll also come in a Stagg Hardcase. The only damage is (what seems to be common place with these basses) is the ding at the end of the headstock. Not sure what I'd be after, but as a rough guide OBBM's DJ4 is up for £750 and the only thing differing between them is that his is Lake Placid Blue and mine is White Trade wise I'd be after another Jazz bass. Anything considered, but Sadowsky (with cash from me) would take highest preference.
Ok definitely up for sale now. £SOLD Can be seen on the far right here: (Please note it doesn't have the FretFX LEDs on it - They were removed before I bought it)
22. Bump
23. I meant the Drive knob.
