      I've been spoiled by my sub-8lb Sadowsky P5 - My other Sadowsky basses aren't far off either at around 8.3-8.5lbs. Only problem with this is everything else I own now seemingly weighs a ton :lol:

    Got the GAS for a fretless Stingray at the moment!

    Hi guys. Any thoughts about how to choose better pickup and electronics for my Ernie Ball Musicman StingRay 4 3band eq? 
    I want more mids and less treble than in factory pickup and electronics. Which one will be best in my case? There's so much options on market and I almost always bump my mids and cut some treble on my Stingray so I need something that it will be more transparent and flat sounding or at least more mids and less treble. Thanks!

      Check the John East site. He makes different versions depending on if you have a 2 band or 3 band Stingray. The 5 string has the jack on the side anyway so was just a direct drop in replacement for my bass.

      I put the pickup in every MM i’ve had. My only MM bass right now is a fretless SR5 but it has the Nordstrand pickup and East pre. You can hear it here:

    I've been out of work with stress for a couple of years.

    Had a job interview earlier today - just had a message to say they were very impressed and asked if I can start next Monday.

      Yep. Had the same thing happen to me! Luckily I didn't buy THAT much stuff so it made it easier to deduce what it was I had bought. Good luck mate!
