I know that I will never be able to play like my bass hero's or sound like them so I just buy gear that I feel comfortable with and just go from there
-
I sold Sean some strings and he was a pleasure to deal with instant payment and very polite with fantastic communication big thumbs up from me 👍

I've heard they suffer from a bit of hiss/noise not sure if they do and I don't even know if the genuine darkglass pedal is noisy

Man wish I had the readies to buy this but alas I don't so glwts

Thought this would of sold by now
They are great cases and would withstand a nuclear strike (maybe not) but they are seriously strong and this is cheap to one's I've seen on ebay

I'm going to try the cheap behringer Bdi21 to see if I like a preamp I'm not exactly sure of the sound I want which I guess doesn't help much I would just like more options and tones at hand I think
If I like the behringer I would probably think of upgrading( I tried the behringer in the past but really didn't give it a fair chance) but some of the more expensive units seem really complicated with knobs and switches everywhere I'm a simple chap and just want something easy to use with minimal controls any ideas guys?
I won't be buying just yet so no rush 👍

Real electronics is the place that springs to mind for repairs I think they do a lot of warranty and repair work for a few manufacturers so I believe

Pretty much anything ashdown is good
But if you want even lighter maybe markbass or tecamp
Best thing to do is look at the amps for sale section on this very forum just so much choice

I'm liking the idea of a preamp pedal but they all seem pretty overcomplicated with knobs and switches everywhere lol
I'm going to try the behringer Bdi121 again as I tried it before but didn't give it a fair chance
I'm liking the look of the ampeg pre with the scrambler overdrive on it that looks pretty simple too

Tuner /preamp /compression /drive 😊 but obviously the comp and preamp can be swapped over depending on how the pedals play with each other and sound

Having worked in the electronics industry, i find it inconceivable that that would be true for any actual company that has stayed in business for more than 3 months.
I agree with you but maybe the cheaper Chinese or mass produced far Eastern manufacturers skip this to keep priced down? But yes any company who really care will test the finished item

Man, if you think that's bullying, you should try posting some observations on a barefaced thread as ebs_freak and see how you many sharp tongues you are on the end of...
I don't know what happened

It was my first experience of internet bullying. I'm sorry we had to witness it.
The people who took part should be ashamed of themselves.
Luckily I missed that one
But will probably get in trouble for saying this but I remember a few years back when moderators were being enlisted to bc and we seemed to have lots of mods and shall we say it was a bit of an old boys network it's still a little like that now for some members but happy to say that the moderation team who actually contributed to the forum do a pretty good job really and let's be honest there's a lot of very sensitive members on here who go running to the mods at the slightest thing they don't like and the mods to pretty well to keep a happy balanced forum

Always wondered if the bass doc had got himself sorted out and would return to the forum I know there is a bit of shall we say bad blood between him and some other members (not my business)
But he seemed knowledgeable didn't really know the guy though

Merlin (Michael) got himself a new job and new band back before lockdown. I know him through local jams - lovely bloke.
Awesome thanks it's nice to know he's doing well 👍

I met up with JTUK outside of BC several times and he was an OK guy.
More than can be said about the people who hounded him off the forum.
Didn't know that happened
I don't really know the guy so can't comment either way
