FITS
2008 AND UP FENDER AMERICAN STANDARD 4 STRING P AND J BASS.
TC RH 450 loads about on here will cut through granite if you set it up right also loads of useful stuff like a built in tuner compressr and decent overdrive. Plus three sound memories plenty loud enough too. Then save fo some cabs. I plug mine into the studios old fender bxr combo for rehearsal and its sounds great. As for to many watts for your combo right now thats what the vol knob is for lol. It drives 4ohm fine
%0th Ani Jazz for Rob
(PS i have the original tuner if you dont want the hipshot

Had two sold two bit Marmite really i found everything i put through it sounded simular if you like the sound get one if you dont you wont get it sounding HiFi.
OK the deed is done after much playing and chatting and playing again came home with a Roscoe Century 5 plus. The Dingwall ca e very very close. But for my ears the Roscoe had a bit more punch and perfect balance.
Ta ya,all
Thanks for all the advice most of which was very useful....
Re the great Warwick debate i seem to have kicked off its each to there own. For me the two i tried had a kinda chunky neck feel that my "fender trained" hand found a bit odd. But as people say a lot of players love them. I take the endorsement point which is why i ask you lot rather than reading the ad lines.
I play mostly live with the occasional (very) studio session. 90% of what i do is without PA support pub and club so the bass tone is more of a factor than it is your stadium star. My memories (distant) of doing bigger stuff unless its your sound crew your bass pretty much ends up sounding how the FOH guy thinks it should.
I am off to Bass Direct later to try some of the options will report back when my pockets have been blitzed.

Budget is £2k tops dont wanna spend that unless its something special. £1 to £1.5 works. More money for beer and crisps.
Sad as it seems it needs to look a bit ROCK so spalt maple masterpieces and pale pastels are the list.
The lakland idea works as i love my Bob Glaub which has nords installed.
Im narrowing it down at last
So what do reccomend active / passive whatever. Needs to punch a hole in a mix like my 50th anniversary does. Wanna sell me it ?
