i didnt say it was rubbish, i said it sounded rubbish it is indeed skillful, and i can only do it slowly, but its not something i want to perfect as i just dont think it sound good! IMO
just a quick note on this debate guys , never really listened to a lot of the mentioned "bassist" being brought into question, but this clip of victor wooten is very technical and impressive but it sounds like he is rolling marbles down the neck !! it's not what i signed up to play bass for 34 year ago ! like i say im not here to slag any one but all that tippy tappy stuff is not for me , kev
 2.
I would always go the separates route for flexibility and upgradeability. A lot of people seem to love MB amps but not so many love their cabs so, for me, "mix and match" would be worth investigating. MB is not cheap so you could find you get a better sound for less money.
hey folks , ive gotta mark bass 1x12 combo that i have decided to put up for sale or exchange deal , it's a little beauty and immaculate it's got loads of balls and a fantastic tone could be a gem for someone , i v'e just bought a GK 700rb 2x10 combo so it's surplus to requirements cheers kev

 12.
I bought a '62 precision from Music Ground, Stainforth nr Doncaster, in the late 70's which was previously owned by Wishbone Ash's bassman (whoever he was/is) I also tried out a '62 lime green jazz bass which was up for sale in the Bass Center the owner being John Entwistle. It was poor, weak pickups, thick neck, however, I don't suppose it mattered when plugged in to millions of watts from Sunn amps. Rhino.
martin turner was wishbone ash's bass player !!

 21.
needs repairing ok this is 18 months old & in very good condition.appart from the fact it doesn't actually work,GK speaker lead included i think the crossover is buggered, the speaker looks to be ok-but i'm no expert. i could do with shifting this on, as i'm buying a 4x10,& it seems pointless to get it fixed only to sell it. whats it worth,£50 i reckon. i won't ship it but will meet somewhere in the harrogate/area.
might be interested in this cab , pm me with ya phone number and i'll give ya a bell as i only live up the road in south shields cheers kev
