What ABY are you planning to use, how and why?

Oh yes - brain fade!!  Anyway I knew it was at a safe level of impedance. Used to ABY a TE head and a Laney head into two different cabs (10's and a 15) with eq's set to different settings and mix the two to give me my overall sound. My son has a Fender Ramparte for his six string guitars which has a cool and a hot channel and borrows my Fender ABY pedal to mix his sound . I wondered if I could do the same with the Metro.

Hi all - just a quick one. Running the above Metro with a Mesa Powerhouse 115. Is it feasable to use an ABY and safely use the Y for both channels together. 2x10" 8 ohm Eden speakers and 8 ohm Mesa running at 3.67ohms in total through each channel independantly. Thanks and regards, Paddy.

Hi - fairly mighty!!! I use a Fender ABY box to also play thru a smaller 12"/150 watt combo (with eq set fairly trebly) with the valve preamp just going into the TE head and mesa cab at a higher volume for a more dirty sound. The combination comes across really well. Loved it!!! Regards, Paddy.

Just had an early Xmas present -  a used Mesa Powerhouse 115. Given to me early as I have a gig tomorrow night. How will a T.E. 250 GP7 sound through it with a valve pre-amp as havnt time to test it at volume? Anyone any ideas? Thanks all.

I jumped on an L2000 two years ago when Thomanns took in an overmake of blueburst and with a favourable exchange rate paid just £325!!! Really tidy bass with a multitude of passive and active sounds to shape.

Four years ago I joined my son and a drummer mate as they couldnt find a bass player. Together with a singer, two of the band were 18, my son was 20 and I was 53. This was after me not playing since I was 20!!! We played Indie stuff to the masses and I felt a teenager again. Since then, the two 18 year olds went off to uni but my son and I found two more players with ages in the 30s and 40s respectivly and still play indie floorfillers/anthems. Absolutely lovin it!!! And best of all, me and my son are just like good mates within the band set-up - no higherarchy(spelling)here.

I run a Mex P bass with US pickups and a swapped out Mighty Mite Jazz neck due to the small size of my hands. Hi-mass bridge too. Works a treat for me.

Back in stock so pulled the pin on one of these - we will hear what we will hear!!! Fingers crossed.

        I had seen that bass-pedals review but I was just interested to hear from any owners who had had experience of using one week to week.
