A loud earth hum appeared on my 73 precision yesterday, I've re soldered all joints and re sat the bridge earth but it still hums and disappears when I touch metal. Any thoughts?

It was a long time ago, maybe 15 years or so but I remember seeing a documentary on the tv about a female bass playerhaving a Sei 5 string custom made. I can't remember if the program was just about that or if it involved the band or generally music related. Does anyone one remember it or have a link to it? Thanks

Does anyone have a lead on where this bass is? I had I built in the early 90s and bought it back in the early 2000s and then sold it to Rayfw. It's a Jims Cairns neck I stunning Birdseye, ash body in old English white, with real MM 2 band circuit and pickup, Schaller tuners and MM bridge. I'd really like it back if anyone knows of its whereabouts? Thanks
