*^^NOW SOLD - please archive*** Here is my beast of a Bongo. Yes, they divide opinion, but when I played it I couldn't resist! I now realise that I can't justify such a quality instrument for one song in the set so it has to go! It's been played as you can see from the pics - there are little dings but obviously nothing that affects sound or playability. However, you're getting a lot of US made instrument for the money. Massively powerful and versatile 18v 4-band eq, immaculate rosewood neck with no fretwear at all, original MM case WITH KEY!!! 😀 and EBMM strap locks. She was strung with Elixirs LAST WEEK which I'm annoyed about, but there you go. Plus you won't be paranoid about dinging her as it's already been done for you - win win!! I'm happy to consider trades for less expensive 5ers with cash my way, but ideally prefer to sell. I have awesome feedback if you want to check me out so no need to worry. Hello everyone! I'm moving on my immaculate Mesa Subway D-800. It's a monumental powerhouse of a head, and I've never had it turned up past a third of the way. This thing is LOUD! Anyway, you knew that otherwise you wouldn't have gotten this far. Comes with lead, gig bag, and original box. I've bought and sold lots on Basschat so no worries there - have a look at my feedback if you need reassuring. £600 plus UK fully insured courier at £40, or just come and pick it up from me in beautiful Derbyshire. This bass is simply brilliant. 1987 vintage, made in Japan for the Japanese market. Never released in Europe. Active electronics, twin 'buckers. Fitted with Elixir 45-105's. Fantastic action, lovely neck and great zingy tone. Weighs in at just over 8lbs. Comfy! Obviously she has accumulated a few dings over the last 30 odd years, but the neck is immaculate. Negligible fret wear. Skull position transfers are easily removed but why not be a pirate? Arrr! Cheers me hearties!
