    Just bought a Squier VM jazz off Matt which was my first experience of purchasing something via the forum. The bass was exactly as described, well packaged and sent tracked. A truly flawless transaction from a decent guy. Recommended.

    Flat Eric am I right in thinking my T40 is a 1979 given the serial is 00396236 ? Cheers.

    I had a maple fretted version in the late 70's early 80's with tortoise shell scratchplate, traded to a 2nd hand store next to general dealer in Glasgow for £40 in 1984, purchased new from Wilkinsons in Airdrie in about 1978 / 79 for £170. God do I regret that decision.

    Looking to sell or trade my Yamaha RBX375 for £150 or decent bass head or 4 string bass. It's in excellent condition just not my thing as it were. Cheers.     Evening gents, just recently joined and laughed when flat Eric mentioned another heavy bass, the Ibanez Studio which i foolishly sold many years ago but thankfully held onto my T40. It's natural with maple neck, early one I think need to check the serial, but an amzing bass all round, I'll post some pics when I get the chance. Was wondering if cases come up as I'm keen to get one? Cheers.
