  8. Bought here on BC in May but I have decided to keep my Laklands only so this one has to go... Let me quote the original post by the previous owner: " For sale is my 2010 USA Fender Jazz 5 string, fitted with a John East preamp. The original passive plate and pots are also included, along with the tags, original strap buttons, allen keys, truss rod tool etc., plus an alternative white scratch plate, all in its Fender fitted case. In good condition, just some minor marks on the back and a chip on the lower body edge shown in the photos. The neck is completely unmarked. It did have a couple of rough frets though, so to prepare it for sale it's just had a full PLEK and setup at Charlie Chandlers in Hampton. It plays beautifully and sounds fantastic, but it's not being used because I just prefer my Laklands, so it has to go." Please contact me if you have any questions! Thanks Joni
  9. There are threaded bushings in the body so metric screws are used to fix the preamp cavity cover. The same method used for the pickups with black socket head screws, check it out here.
  10. Thank you Guys! Yes, great basses. Comfortable neck, tight B string, good balance, so many variation of tones, etc. But I have decided to keep my Lakland DJ5 only so this one has to go...
  11. I can record some sound clips if you wish Please PM me what kind of pickup / EQ settings and playing style are you mainly curious of. Thanks!
  12. Hungary. If you are based in EU shipping is included.
  13. Hi, Up for sale my Lakland 55-02, made in Korea (2005). Bartolini USA pickups and preamp. Original nut was replaced to brass by a local luthier. It has a tortoise pickguard but I have converted it to black using a sticker. There are 3 extra holes on the body (as far as I know a former owner installed a ramp) but they are not visible because they are covered by the pickguard. Otherwise some minor signs of use but nothing serious (for further pics please PM me). There is another custom made pickguard (ash with transparent black satin finish)... looks so cool For details please check the specs on Lakland's website: http://www.lakland.com/55-02.htm PS.: shipping in EU is included. Thanks for looking, Joni
