Bump for a wicked bass tutor and the best value price for a CIJ I've seen. I'd say it was a 70's reissue - looks like theres holes for a bridge pickup cover in the tortoise shell pickguard. Regards Oli Matt
Cheers, Oli! hope all is well mate! Thank you for lookin and sorry for not getting back to you all in a timely manner ill get on on it now! Bit more info on the on the bass< its a top spec cij p bass, 70's reissue with a lightwaight body and US pickups, i also forgot to mention the the previouse owner before clarky cut a notch out of the body underneath the pick gaurd for easyer acces to the trussrod, not the best job ive seen but takes nothin away fro the bass at all! cheers martin

Good evening! Thanks Matt I will see what the guys have on the Sub Contra bass and maybe we can put something together. Today i have split the tops and prepared the body woods for the two Perception basses, starting with plaining and thickening the tops before splitting. European Walnut top Madrone top After preparing the body woods I glued on the tops with a black veneer between them. MM Stingray, how much should i be paying for......?
martin lee replied to richy316's topic in Bass Guitars
i used to own the the the stingray in guitar guitar, it was an 88 with a bad refinish and dirt had got deep in the grain. but was a great bass. when i bought it it was filthy with no scratch plate and the holes filled in, even after a good clean and a new sratch plate it still looked filthy but i loved it. I payed £650 at a guitar show for that a couple of years ago. i would actualy quite like it back. -

MIA 75 Reissue Jazz Bass, Natural/Rosewood finger board
martin lee posted a topic in Basses For Sale
Hi there, this is my made in America 75' reissue Jazz Bass with ash body, natural finish and Rosewood fingerboard. Ive had the bass since new and is less than a year old, the figerboard is immaculate as is the bass its self apart from a couple of very minor bumps. Sale includes a never used fender vitage case that came with the bass (i used a gator case for more protection) and all the bits that came in it (ash trays, lead, rubbish strap- never used, etc..). This is a great soundin bass thats been really well looked after, am selling to fund new gear and if i could find justify keeping it i would. no part ex lookin for £850 but open to offers best wishes martin -
