  2. Highly regarded analogue overdrive / distortion pedal that is no longer in production.

In very clean condition as shown in the pics.

Treble and bass knobs plus the classic / modified switch makes it a very flexible pedal.

They've been discussed here and on talkbass quite a bit and are thought to be a very natural, responsive and dynamic pedal with no bottom end loss.

To avoid any confusion, there is no tube in the pedal, it's solid state analogue... but it does sound tubey!

Takes a standard 9v boss style power supply (not included).

    £60 includes UK postage.

  3. SOLD PLEASE REMOVE

    Hi folks,

selling this as once again I've realised I prefer single pedals.

This is mint condition, used to test it out only. It is very versatile, and can be made more so by using a remote footswitch to control almost anything you can think of. All the effects and parameters are in the download able guide.

Tuner and looper are also both easy to use and access.

The little known feature that made me buy it is that it is also great for guitar, it even has guitar specific preamps as well as bass ones. Sounds great as most BOSS stuff does, I just prefer idiot proof stompers.

    £130 including UK postage.

  4. Really lovely sounding preamp this. It has a really nice tube tone that is in ampeg / fender territory. Works fab as a guitar combo emulator too. For a fenderish tone.

The harmonics and drive dials are where the magic is, it never gets very dirty so if you want a clean or a just breaking up sound this is honestly as good as anything I've heard.

Sad to see it go but its surplus to requirements here and I try to run a one in one out policy!

It is absolutely as good as new, as is the box. Pics coming here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1jADL3gw2lmRhehktt9VBHLb6Lh-2IenF

Happy to post it for a fiver

  5. Bought this very recently from fellow basschatter in Newcastle, not being able to resist the temptation to try out this Canadian rarity. The conclusion is that as much as I really wanted to love it, it is not quite right for me and my sound  ... but it could be perfect for yours :)

Very clean condition, no box unfortunately. Happy to post it for an extra fiver.

    Enjoy :)

  6. I didnt really use it for more than a few home sessions as the band project didn't happen.

Its a good sounding, very loud amp. It can handle 90% of situations - 100% of gigs I've ever done but if your doing arena tours you may need a few of them! Despite the power it is light, very quiet (fan is inaudible at home practice levels) and looks good!!

If you really only want home use the 200w version would be fine, but 500w will do that plus make it more useful in other situations.

Voices and EQ are versatile and it has a built-in  high pass filter to protect speakers and make it very efficient at making sounds rather than waste power on inaudible vibrations. Great amp if you ask me... :)

  7. Yeah Oc10 is a great little thing.

I wasn't too fussy about keeley settings. It went directly in front of the Oc10 with ratio at somewhere near noon, and threshold the same. You can tweak it forever but one of the great things about the keeley limiter is that it's so easy to dial in a great sound.

This was with a jazz bass with hot but passive pickups.

    Have fun:)

  8. just to add (as the person who sold @AlKrow the Keeley Limiter) that:

    a) I've an OC10 too and it is wonderful. Totally agree that it nails OC2 tone and tracks excellently

    b) don't want to mess with your pedal board layout too much ... but ...  if you put the limiter in front of the OC10 it makes for amazing sustained octave sounds that get very funky :)

    Enjoy!
