3. Hi all! I have a tasty custom fretless up for sale! It was on Ebay but has now ended. I've left the link for the info. Cheers Jase.
 4. For the past few months I've been suffering with serious problems in my right shoulder/arm/elbow/shoulder blade, restricted movement etc. to the point where I am unable to play. It's the first time in 30 years I've had any health issues as a bass player, very frustrating and painful. I thought I'd post this link to a great organization I found and if there's anyone else here concerned with their health as a musician maybe try these guys before your GP. They're very helpful, friendly and arranged a consultation for me to see a specialist 2 weeks after my first phone call, which is a damn sight better than my original waiting time of 24 weeks via my GP. So, in about a weeks time I'm having my new bionic arm fitted BAPAM

I will be watching with interest sir. By the way, all things very cool here and just chilling for a bit. Catch you soon and good luck. Matt
Hahahaha! Yeah it was my main squeeze but it only looked nice, it was quite a mission to play around it's flaws and faults. Good to hear all's cool and will keep you posted on stuff Matt, no worries
 10.
Mate, I can't believe you're selling this beauty already. I know you wanted an upright but selling the Esh. Are you hanging on to the Jazz bass? Good luck bud and hopefully catch you soon. Cheers, Matt P.S. - Don't know if this is useful but thought of you anyway - http://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_sp..._Multitech.html
Hi mate...I sold the jazz too! In fact it got broken down and sold separately. I can get another fretless at some point bro if I need it but the idea is I'm jumping over to upright. It's the next port of call! Thanks for the link too mate Hope all is well with you and the gang!

 12.
Guys I'd completely forgotten I'd posted this, so many apologies for my absence and many thanks for the responses. Having read the posts I'm a little confused, so I'll re-read and see if I can get things any clearer. The main concerns are that there are three songs which we, and a few other people, believe have legs as songs in their own right (i.e., over and above the recorded performances). There is a balance of enthusiasm to get the music out there and, given that there's been some tentative talk of trying to sell the songs to other performers, nervousness about doing so. Is a publishing deal perhaps the best bet here? Cheers Chris
If you're thinking of selling your songs to other performers maybe you should see a music lawyer? Things may seem friendly, everybody may get on well etc but you really should safe guard your material.

 14.
I bought the MP3 download from Amazon on Sunday. Apart from the first number which sounds like the band tuning up to me I love it! So refreshing to hear something like this done so musically. Cheers, Jase. N
Hahahaha! Thanks for the support mate!
 15. Looking to trade/sell my wonderful fretless. I've had it around 4 months maybe, just superb to play, comfortable, light, awesome tones. A fine custom bass! Would consider a trade for an upright of equal quality/value. Bass was £1200. Excellent condition. Will be shipped with custom gig bag in a Fender hard case. Here's some pics and info: This is a custom order bass made with a beautiful piece of European Quilted Maple for the top and headstock face. The body has a hand applied Amber finish that really makes the quilt "pop". The fingerboard is Ebony and the electronics feature an EMG MM TW pickup and the classic Esh Tronic preamp. Big, singing tones just jump off this bass and the preamp/pickup combination gives a vast array of great Jazz/P tones from the EMG's to almost acoustic/upright bass tones with the piezos! •Body - Swamp ash with Amber hand applied stain, European Quilt Maple Top •Finish - High Gloss clear finish •Neck - 3 piece American Maple bolt on neck with Walnut stringers, patented Ultra Contact neck pocket construction - Matching Quilt Maple Headstock •Nut - Graphite •Fingerboard - Ebony, 34" scale, 2 octave •Pickups - 1 x Active EMG MMTW pickups, Individual Piezos •Controls - Volume, Tone, Pickup selector (single coil/dual coil), Esh-Tronics control* •Bridge - ETS/ESH custom bridge in Ruthenium finish •Tuners - Shaller M4 type 2000 in Ruthenium finish •Case - Custom Padded Gig Bag
Well now - after trying several free downloads of software & a bit of experimentation, you can now hear the bass ( & my c**p playing!).
Just the job! The recording sounds fine too, very clear! I like the tone of the bass. If I could shift my bass I'd have your Stentor
 20. Thought I'd post a 2.30 minute snippet from a 30 minute track I'm trying to write/record for next year. I'd be interested to hear any opinions
 21.
I'll see what I can do in the way of recording the bass. Once I've done a recording & MP3'd it (I'll record onto a minidisc player & upload it onto my PC Music library) - what then???? How do I post it to this site - or do I have to email it as an attachment to whoever wants a copy??
Hey, don't break your back over it mate...if any mp3's were handy is all I meant To upload just reply to a thread, click browse, locate file, click upload! Then you'll be able to manage the upload and enter it into a reply
 22. Are there any mp3's available of the bass?
