1. I'm looking at the Prestige or the Viking 5 string however my band plays in dropped A (currently use a Dingwall NG3). Does anyone have experience with drop tuning them? I don't wanna buy one and not be able to get a good sound from it
2. I haven't had GAS for a few years but this!...😍

Lovely, lovely basses. I have the 4 string tobacco sunburst one and love it. Really good price as well! Glwts
4. Is this still available?
5.
My electric family all caught in one picture, added a few more wall hangers recently, even got open spaces now.
AMAZING
6. I have had both of those basses. The ng2 I just couldn't get on with as I found the sound a little sterile. For me sandberg make the best basses around for the money. I love mine even dearly

8. Superb basses, I love my 'berg dearly. If I didn't have one I'd take this off you in a heart beat. GLWTS
9. Dingwall Combustion - Couldn't get any sound at all that suited me or the band Warwick Thumb - Just too uncomfortable to use for any amount of time
10. If only it was the sparkling blue one
11. That is a real looker. Tempted.
12. Oh wow. That's gorgeous
13. Spector -> Modulus -> Warwick -> Roscoe
14. Beautiful finish on that bad boy! GLWTS
15. Bump
16. This damn thread! I really, really want this even though I've just purchased a new jazz! -
17. Hi all, I'm looking a bass tutor around the nottingham area as I want to tighten up some of my techniques and learn a bit more theory. Does anyone have any recommendations? Someone with a good slap/thumbing technique would be ideal. Thanks
18. Last price drop, after this I'll keep it as it's as solid as a bass as they come. £435
19.
For your money, you do see the occasional pre-owned Sandberg California. Fantastic bases.
Amen
20. Congrats on a stunning bass! Good story (although I hope your brother is ok)
21. Wow.
22. Beautiful bass! must...resist...
23.
It's a beaut!... although on your 2nd photo, the 'G' string looks awfully close to the edge of the neck?
When it was sent the seller loosened the strings right down. When I tuned it up it was fine
24.
Congrats on an outstanding bass. Played a 5-string version of that model and was really impressed. Love the colour.
Thank you! it feels like 'the one'. To me it's as close to a perfect active jazz bass as you can get
25. No more GAS for a while!
