When I got it the strings were hanging off the board hence the bridge change, it's now as it should be for the spacing, yes the poles don't line up but it does not affect the balnce of sound in any way.
The bridge is all adjustable so if you wanted to line the poles up you could but I found that the strings were to close to the edge of the board on the high end and I wanted a closer string spacing
 2. 4. A true head turner, It is stunning, A siggery custom made Jazz 5 blue quilt top with a birdseye maple neck and finger board. Armed with a basslines stingray 5 pickup at the back and a basslines front jazz bar, With the aguilar obp3 3 band Eq. 2 volumes separate mid and sacked bass and treble, and a mid boost toggle switch, and a Wilkinson bridge. When I ordered it this is the spec I requested, but the pieze and the eq were complete rubbish so they had to go. It is simply the best of all worlds, if you want a stingray sound there you go and if you want a jazz bass sound it's all there. I only fitted the Eq last week and what a difference it's made. I have since realized that the boutique basses just ain't for me. It is far better than the sadowsky I used to own, and plays nicer than my deluxe 5 jazz I once owned and I can only describe as sadowsky meets a GB spitfire 5. RENT PRICE DROP TO £625 I am also looking for a fender jazz 4 neck preferably 70's Any questions please ask or call on 07956 964156. Remember don't ask don't get!!!!! 8. EBS valve drive preamp pedal, Ideal if your sick of using someone else's backline. Wide range of tones from a bit of eq through to full out overdrive. still in box, with power supply although this Is a 2 prong plug, I just use a 2 pin adaptor which is fine. £120 is what I'm aiming, for only 6 weeks old in excellent condition. Can post for about £8 or collection welcome call on 07956 964156

 11.
I'm really digging those mods and as you can see in my signiture my TRB5 fretless is half way there. Could I ask about the pickups though? Which Nordstrands are they and were they easy to fit? Sorry this isn't buying related but i would really appreciate that info.
They were in it when I got them so not sure what model number the pickups are and it's all easy if your good at soldering, no real biggy. get some there the best out there.

 15.
I love the Yamahas too! I don't get out my city much but if i hear anything about the Myung I'll let you know, real shame! Any reason for selling them all? haha!
I got a nice custom made jazz 5 now so just using that
 16.
fluffo, with the shallow cutaway on the treble side (where the small scratchplate is) this looks like one of the earlier and more desirable first series TRB5s, not a TRBII. Probably a moot point as the pups and electrics have been changed but the early TRBs usually play better than the later ones in my experience. Good luck with the sale, Ian
thanks mate will amend
 17.
Hey Mate! What is it with you and great taste in Yamaha Basses! If only i had any money! X_x best of luck with the sale!
I love the yams, really regret the muang, that got stolen in transit to scotland by the Royal Fail!!!!
 18. Yamaha TRB 5 string bass bolt on neck, with some great added features, it has a pair of nordstrand pick-ups and an audere 3 band active eq, this really sounds good with enough variation to get any sound or tone you want. Yes it has some scares and the luthier that installed this system made a pigs ear of the jack socket, which has been moved to the lower bottom horn, as we all know barrel jack sockets can play up hence why it has been moved and changed. A small scratch plate has been fitted but this can easily be removed. As far as the playability goes this really plays well with a nice low action all frets are in good order with very little wear. Comes with original hard case. Looking to either sell or trade/swap for 5 string jazz of some sort, any suggestion will be considered.(jazz deluxe would be perfect but lets see what comes up) Other option is to swap for a 70's jazz bass neck or other jazz neck I am willing to sell for £350, Its worth that in eq and pickups email [email protected] or call on 07956 964156

 20.
I’m tentatively looking for trades for my Carvin LB75 w/Kahler trem. The Carvin has a narrow string spacing which I don’t mind in isolation, but I’m finding it tricky to switch between basses. It’s not getting played as much as my others, so that’s the only reason why I’m getting itchy feet and considering trades for it. I’ve written a whole review on the Carvin here on Basschat, so there’s a whole bundle of info in there. Here’s some pics: ...and with the trem arm in place! I’m after a direct trade for another 5 string fretted or fretless of the same value. No Fenders or MM not my particular cup of tea. I could also be tempted by an eub.. If you’re in doubt, I can only say no!
Hi there, I got a jap trb5 with nordstrands and audere preamp if your interested, a little scared but sounds alsome
