1.
I know what you mean. Still waiting! :)

As a rough rule, the 350s with the black lettering on the blue background run down to 4. The ones with the white lettering which run down to 2 ohm.
big big thanks to ebs freak thats relly cleared this up for me, mine has white writing on blue back ground so will assume this is a newer model.
I just traded my lmk mb and mb 4 x 10, wasn't sure if it was the right move but gigged the hd350 with one ebs cab the other night and was blown away, still tempted to get a td 650 tho, just to be greedy!!!!!

  2. I have recently traded for a ebs hd 350 and ebs 4 10, which I love, I have also now got an ebs 2 10, both are 4 ohms.
The amp spec states a minimum 2 ohms which sounds right ie 2 x 4 ohms drops to 2 ohms, but on the back of the amp above the speaker outputs it says "speaker outputs 2 - 8 ohms"I thought maybe my amp is of an older design but it also says this on the new ones and on all spec details of any age amp.
I need to know prior to plugging them both in as It may not like it and I don't want to go changing again.

All relavent info much appreciated, come on boys tell me what you know.

    fluffo over and out

  4.
Hello, can someone please give me regarding this. I'm thinking of getting one of those tasty looking Proline 210 from EBS for my LKII but I have an intention of getting another one in the future. However, both these cabs are 4 ohms which I dont think is aloud with my head.

Does anyone know of any way that I can around this.

    Thanks.
don't do it dude the mb gear is 4 ohm min and two 4ohm cabs drop it to 2 ohms, it will go bang!!!!!!
I am looking for a proline 2 10 and if your interested i have a mint condition mb 2 10 traveler cab at 8 ohms

  5.
I've got 4 basses at the moment, two Trabens a Spector and this Yamaha. This gets the least amount of use since I got the Trabens. As we're doing some recordings in May we need a decent 4 string so I'm offering this Yamaha in part ex (cash either way) for a decent 4 string. Not interested in Fenders, I'm mainly after a Musicman Sub, a Traben Chaos 4-string, a decent Spector or a G&L.

The Yamaha is in players condition. I bought this off a session musician who'd made some adjustments to it. Its got some issues which I'll outline here:

    1) Some arse of a luthier drilled a hole for a new jack plug in the wrong place so there's a hole (see photos).

    2) There's a few screw holes in the body where a thumb rest was fitted.

    3) There's what looks like some glue marks on the pickups

    4) There's a number of wear marks on the body - around the control knobs and round the heel of the body.

    5) There's a small pick-guard that was attached by the previous owner as it helped with slapping according to him. I don't really use it for slap so couldn't tell you if it does or not!

Its in player's condition but it does have the added bonus of having Nordstrand pickups and an Audere pre-amp which sounds the nuts. It plays superbly and has a fairly new set of DR Hi-Beams on it. Its also got Schaller Straplocks too.

I've used it a few times at gigs, through an Ampeg SVT 5 and 8x10 and through a old H&H rig and it sounded equally as good through both. I'm really looking for trades on this but would be willing to sell for £[s]375[/s] ono £325.

Also comes with Yamaha hard case.
9.
I bought natural GB75 about month ago. It is sweet bass and I didn't even know they're making them in white/rosewood combo. I wonder if it is any different from my natural one. I'm tempted to try...
I've played a natural one and there is a slight difference in sound even with a rose wood board they still sound brighter and more punchy in a painted finish, I don't why after all it should be the other way I would have thought.
