1. This is my Gallien-Krueger 700RB-II bass amp head, including Gator 4U rack case, 1U ventilation grill, 2 patch leads, mains kettle lead, and 4 pole speakon lead (for running GK bi-amp cabs). It has been kept in a rack from new and is in very good condition. I will enclose the original manual, feet and handles.
I bought this off robgo on basschat about 2 weeks ago but due to my pet needing an emergency operation today at a cost of over £2000 I need some dosh in fast.
This is not something I want to sell but as my hartke head will do for now I have to sell the most valuable out of the two.

I will accept £325 for the lot, based on my need for a quick turn around.

Any questions either call me on 07956 964156 or PM me.

Can post, U.K only but will cost about an extra £25, thats fully insured.

2.
Hartke Hydrive 4 x 10 cab In excellent condition.
This cab is a 1000watt cab, 8omh.
Only reason for sale is the fact that I need to drop to 4ohms maybe even 2ohms and as they don't make a 2 x 10 in this range.
I don't want to go down the big rig route ,ie either another 4 x 10 or a 1 x 15 in order to reduce the ohmage.
I know before anyone says that there is various rewire options that I could drop this cab to 4ohms aside and treating it like a pair of 2 x 10's within one cab and having to connections on the back, but i want to keep it original, It's to gooder cab in togooder condition to be butchered.
It is a very light weight cab that has the factory fitted wheels on it.
Looking for £295 on this and ideally collected from southeast london/kent area.
As far as any trades I am looking down the GK route.

Any question please PM me or call on 07956 964156

3. Hartke HA5000 bass amp. This is a 2 x 250w amp which can be used as a single 500w amp, or, as I have used it, a 2 x 250w biamped system into separate cabs. It delivers 500w into 2 ohms. Can be run to 4 ohms with two 8 ohm cabs or to 2ohms with either 2 4ohm cabs or 4 8ohm cabs either it's got plenty of power.
I am selling it on it's own or in the 3 unit studio spares flight case.
Price dropped with case £175 or on its own at £150.
Can be posted at buyers expense or collected or a meet up resonably local to south side of M25/A2.
Any questions PM me or call on 07956 964156.

5.
Just wanted to get a poll on which finish of these Modulus basses your prefer. They are identical except for finish.

I'm just looking for you initial, gut reaction. I find both basses equally amazing, and I'm deciding if I should trade one for the other. (I'm not saying which one I own yet)

Thanks :)
red red red, the other is a bit of a dated finish ,the blue reminds me of one of the old status finishes, oh and blue is a bit sickly you me.

6.
I did try yesterday, although the replacement was an instrument lead not a speaker cable. Does sound very much like my problem - another visit to OBBM!
Do you get a solid signal from the direct out and the effects send if it has one)
If yes then the chances are its a loose connection or an intermitent fault/component between the pre amp and the power amp side.
Normally if it's the power amp you often get a slight burning smell.
The other option is that your jack sockets from the amp to speaker are duff but as there is more than one of these it would be very unlightly.
Are all the pots good on input gains and the master volume, it only takes a bit of dust in the wrong place or a dry joint somewhere?
Hope this helps, let me know how you go.

7. I can not believe that Hartke do not make a 2 x 10 Hydrive ,does any one know of any other cabs that are 600mm wide.
GK are slightly narrower.
It's a serious oversight on there part, To get the 4 ohms I either have to get another hydrive 4x10 or a 15, but I don't like 15's.
A 2 x 10 and a 4 x 10 would be perfect, I mean small rig med rig or all together massive but still managable as far as carrying it all.
I'm not interested in the 1 x 12 high drive as once again it is a different width.
I asked the hartke guys at the bass show but they didn't even know there own products, and were completly brain dead.
It's one of the only ranges I can think of that don't do a 2 x 10.

8. I'm selling one of my RBX 775's It's the flat blue.
I have 2 silvers ones, they are all I use now and the blue one that is in a far better condition than my main 2 but It just never gets used.
It plays aswell as the others but I don't need 3 of them.
It's up for £200 plus post to the U.K only.
Collection is welcome but am happy to post at buyers expense.
These were discontinued a while ago and the 375 took over which is no where a patch on these.
The dots are stick glow dots as these were never made with markers, but can be easily removed in 10 minutes.

9.
+1 on the 210T, works the 3500 very open but tight. I run a VX115 underneath as I like a bit of warmth and found the aluminium cones too bright
get yourself the new hartke 4 10 hydrive, it's light on wheels and very punchy, thats what i use with my ha3500

10. I picked this up as a part exchange with a guy who had my EBS HD350.
As I already have the HA3500 which I am more than happy with this HA5000 has to go.
It's in great condition and full working order, all pots are good and all graphic eq lights work as they should.
In all honesty if Hartke made a Hydrive 2x10 I would keep it but I have no use for the biamp function.
Please note you can use it in a full range set up with one cab, at 4ohms you will get the 500watts and slighty less at 8ohms.
I will get a pic on here later tonight.

Looking for the £200 that it owes me from the deal plus postage, and collection is welcomed to.
Any questions either PM me or call on 07956 964156

11.
Trust me with this rig you WILL!!! be heard, ive got the head and used to have a proline 4x10 only sold it because of the size and weight, but the quality of tone is outstanding, i want another one- big bump for this huge bargain!
cheers lee, A man who knows quality

12.
Quite interested in these myself in my search for a small, lightweight and inexpensive setup. Been looking at 2 of these with the LH500 and the Ibanez Promethean 210 combo. The Promethean would be nearly 300 quid less. Have to admit, the 4/8 ohms switch, whilst a great idea, makes me worry about reliability issues in a "more things to go wrong" kind of way. However, I bet when teamed up with the LH500 they sound great.
I've the hydrive 4 10 and I'm using it instead of my proline ebs 4 10, it's light small tight and alsome, I bet the 2 12 is much the same quality

13.
Up for sale is my Cirrus BXP 5 good overall condition and a lovely player.

Looking for £220 for this no offers please, it's worth it all day long.
Postage is about £22 fully insured but collection would be preferred.

15.
So I just need the ganja, and I'll be ok ??

Thanks for all the tips guys. I'll get watching and practising.
I play in a reggai/skar band, to give you a basic idea, first just think route note and low 5th's if your timing is good that will instantley give that backbeat feel.
Also thing triads, ie route 3rd then 5th, this is what the old madness lines were about, I know thats not reggai but slo it down with a backbeat feel.
And remember SPACES MAKE BASS'S oh yes and dn't forget the ganja man.( only kidding, those were the days)
