I bought a set of peavey strings yesterday and the E string was as dead as the strings I took off the rest are fine.
A tenner and a waste of money I would rather spend £15 and know I'm getting.
The hartke ones were great but I've had A few sets with a dead string and very unbalanced,I guess I'm just a tight bastard who won't learn by his own mistakes. -
I have an old set of EMG Jazz bars, they have the EMG writted in gold, the ones that don't need there own EQ, will these work with any of the other makes of eq/preamps , I am thinking along the lines of a John East deluxe Jazz plate, and would I need to run the pickups from one 9V battery and the Preamp from a seperate one??

promusictools did have a couple of real tasty esp basses ,new jap ones a J5 and a vintage J5 with block inlays, they seem to be the only place around doing any esp bass stuff,

I found a 400 series telecaster on google images with the same neck plate, so the verdict is jap parts assembled in NYC apparently very early run and mine is 224 earlier than this one.
HAPPY DAYS
VINTAGE ESP 400 SERIES TELECASTER
The best kept secret in the vintage market...the ESP 400 series. Amazing quality. and feel. You would swear your playing the real deal!
LIGHT WEIGHT ALDER BODY- MAPLE NECK- ALL THE INGREIDENTS FOR THE PERFECT TELE TONE!!
This is a very early example of the series, and the company! Parts made in Japan, and assembled in NYC.
Peroid correct construction give it the vintage vibe costing much more!
Some wear. Frets have a little wear up to 4th position, but it DOES NOT AFFECT the playability of this guitar! It feels and plays like a million bucks. Back of the neck is worn down to the wood...nice and smooth. Perfect for country chicken-pickin! Comes with chipboard case.

Emailed ESP USA yesterday ,waiting for a reply, Selectron also said to sent them some photos and they would look into it, they are the uk distrubuter.

this one is lined fretless, obviously a defret admitedly it's a pro job thats been done. May refret it ,not even sure if I'm gonna keep it or not, I'm so use to 5's
-
No reason to change it, but the question was best replacement bridge, If I had to replace one it would be a bad ass

A friend of mine Is thinking of selling his purple 1977 Marshall head and 4 x 12, marshall have valued it at about £3500 grands worth, but we want to avoid ebay and any other blood sucking commision based vermin.
May try Gumtree ect, any ideas.
