Forgot to mention that, unlike most other Laklands (unless you shield them), this one is absolutely silent. A gem of a bass. Pity that I have too many, and no gigs.

Hi Fantastic bass, just not getting the attention it deserves. It is an early one, 2001, with factory-fitted Bartolini pickups and 3-band preamp. Lovely sherwood green gloss finish. Absolutely superb neck, with amazing bird's eye maple board. Comes with a separate tortoise shell pickguard in case you feel inclined to fit it. D-tuner. Comes with a cream tolex hard case. Condition is very good, only a chip in the paint right above the bridge PU, and general (but slight) signs of use. Price includes shipping in the EU. Cheers! Yes, the price includes shipping with UPS. It comes with a well-padded, rigid Sandberg soft case, which offers good protection. It will be well-packaged with bubblewrap and in a cardboard box, so safe for shipping in my experience, Thanks

NOTE TRADE VALUE ABOVE IS INCORRECT Hi all, Lovely little bass here! I ordered this a while ago out of curiosity about short scale basses (30"). As it happens, it took quite a bit longer to deliver than expected, so I (of course) got carried away in the meantime and now this is surplus to requirements! So a unique opportunity to grab a brand new bass at a great price and without waiting time... This is the standard version of Scott's offering, passive (volume, tone, pickup switch), manufactured in China. Lovely all around, the bass has plenty of punch and definition. If I were to keep it, I'd try to string it piccolo or tenor, it looks like it will be fab - but it is very good with standard tuning too. The 'Alembicized' body shape forces you to try your Stanley Clarke riffs immediately! It is very light too, but feels adequately substantial due to the thicker body shape. The neck is pretty great, very easy to navigate. These go at 600+ Euro new including the fitted hard case, I'll let it go for 485 Euro (or 370 gbp) shipping included. All MINT, obviously. Grab it while you can!
