4. Had a whoppingly good time......scared myself to death coming off the snow covered motorway

great beer with some top people, great curry, more beer, stroked lots of woody bits.....

Basyokey worked really well I think. It got lots of people up playing that maybe would not have done otherwise, great response from people there, very supportive to the players. Shaun and the band are great guys to play with......hopefully others will post lots of photos.........cos I took bugger all

Very tired now......roll on the next one...;)

  5. Putting this up here on behalf of a band I know.

Great set of guys, very relaxed mature band Looking for new bass player

    Two guitars, vocals, Drums.

Playing lots of varied stuff, but all good easy listening familiar crowd pleasing songs.

    Own rehearsal space

Gigging typically 2 times a month (with the odd extra gig)

The band has been together for about 10 years and lost the last bass player as he moved away.

    Band web site is here:-

Oi Perry, theres still seems to be a discrepancy in the gear section of that site!!!!
Updated..... :D

    All Hail the ale......

  7. Starting adding the songs chosen and names on the bassyokey web page.

    http://www.moffatbassbash.co.uk/

Get your names and songs over to me as soon as possible !!

Just putting 2 songs per player at the moment, as I think that will be more than enough with the numbers we have.

Don't forget, the band is with us all day so you can get up and jam and have a warm up through a song with them in the morning if you fancy, or just want to check you have the right key worked out.

They originally booked Pink Floyd but due to an administrative error he turned up instead.

Explains why the punters had more interest in my deep shag pile coat rather than the music..... :)

with the knowledge of some people on here it could probably be fixed with an old G string and a leatherman :)

You sir, will fit right in....... :) .

you're still barking up the wrong bassist. :)
Indeed.....

I only pressed the buttons Stephen....can't claim the credit for the wind up...although it took you long enough to spot it......

For clarity and removal of any legal backlash - I can categorically state with out any hesitation that the bass indeed a Rick.....I think...well, ya know it looks kinda like one...... :)

What cabinet material are you using, David?
Its very high quality void free baltic Birch ply, 12mm with internal bracing. The cabs are CNC produced and then sent out for coating.

Those 12" EAD cabs look great and I love the tilt on them. What weight are they going to come in at, just ballpark?
The Foundation 112 2 way cab is approx 15-16kg, the 3 way will be approx 17-18kg

  13.
Dave will probably be along in a bit but I think the 112's are working their way through the last of the prototype stages and I'm not sure if prices are up for them yet. I think he's going to do them is 3 'builds', 3 way, 2 way and single driver. Some prototypes will be at Bass day in manchester and London.

    Thanks Peter

Yes that is the plan so far.

The web site is being updated over the next few weeks.
