1. Thanks Rich! Hope the fretless 5 is treating you well! This is still available.
2. Hi everyone! Selling my Roland TD6 digital kit. I use this jamming along with my ipod - lots of fun! Over a hundred inbuilt kits, MIDI compatible, songs you can play along with - all for £195! Good condition, comes with PSU, all pedals etc and fully working! Based in Chelmsford Essex - pickup only! Thanks Mike
3. Something that really helped with my intonation on both fretless and double bass was to use organ drones - literally a few minutes of an organ playing a C, for example, and playing through scales, arpeggios, melodies with the C for constant reference. Really highlights any intonation problems. These aren't the ones I have but there are some here: http://www.2reed.net/awesome.html. Also some others here: https://www.idrs.org/multimedia/midi/PUB/Drones.htm Good luck!
4. As I say, I took this on tour with a professional orchestra and it sounded amazing! I just need the money and already have another couple of 4st jazzes!
5.
Do you have the weight please ?
Hey! 10lbs on my slightly dodgy digital bathroom scales!
6. Yep, all about starting slow. "River people" by Weather Report is a good track to work on octave movement.
7. Nice lick. Thanks buddy. Look forward to crowbarring that in too many times on my next jazz gig. Great blog, thanks!
8. Will take a close offer. This is a genuinely amazing bass for the money!

10.
nope, the guy was in germany and i didn't want to ship as i stated in my product description. So its still available
Ah, how annoying. I was bidding on it so I was wondering! Good luck with the sale.
11.
I absolutely love Wunjo's new dominance over Denmark Street. I'm not surprised they're spreading out so much as they have excellent, friendly service in all of their stores! I've become quite well acquainted with Tom, the main guy in the Bass Centre, since buying my US Deluxe last September. He was brilliant with helping me find and get what I was after! I'm pretty sure he also recognises every face that comes back in to the store and he's always willing to recommend I try out some basses he thinks I might fancy. Absolutely top guy. The same can be said for the rest of the staff there too! They're all willing to have a chat and actually INTERACT with customers, unlike some of the sarcastic, smarmy people that worked there before the Wunjo's days... I hope one day they buy out the whole street so we can just get it over with and rename it Wunjo's Street. They're singlehandedly bringing back the reputation that Denmark Street deserves: Amazing, tolerant and friendly service. (DISCLAIMER: I haven't been hired by Wunjo's to post this review! I'm just a genuine admirer of the great job they're doing )
Exactly my experience. Tom and his staff were so friendly and accommodating and I ended up buying a USA Jazz deluxe. I might be soon getting the 5 string version - through them, as they've provided such excellent service.
