1. You know you want to make me an offer!
This would be crazy good with my SUNN 300T!
2. Will take £100 for the Psilocybe, inc. p & p
  3.
Yep, this used to be my cab (and OBBM's before me). Great cab, served me well - these pics are the first time I've ever seen it out of the flightcase!
Let me tell you, it was a pain in the @rse getting it out of the flightcase - it is a very snuggily fitting case, took me 45 minutes with the combined effects of gravity, shaking and levering for it to be extracted!! Case is available - currently being used as a makeshift table for a load of geraniums! Anyone interested?
  4.
From the description, cover and flight-case, I suspect it was the one I had for a while. I got it from David Perry, who bought it new, and sold it to Stickman. Super cab, great sound. The band always referred to it as "The Shed".
Well I bought the cover myself, but the name Stickman is a little familiar. It's certainly been well looked after by all owners, and still sounds great.
  5.
Did this one come from Stickman?
I can't remember to be honest - I picked it up from a rehearsal space near Wimbledon Park tube station, but don't remember the name of the guy I bought it from.
  6.
I would love to take that 70s bullett Baxter off your hands looks like some finish missing on the top part though(more mojo though i suppose) I havent got the cash at the moment,but i could give you the vintage Frank Muir and throw in a 70s john craven,perfect condition apart from a bit of the usual fading of the laquer,and a couple of tiny dings. You have to admit this is a superb example of these sought after newscasters.
You have yourself a deal sir - I assume Craven comes with the standard 'Newsround' hardcase, and not the later Countryfile softcase? I've been after a craven for a while to help complete my Swapshop collection: already have myself a 70's edmonds and an early 90's Philbin. Give me a shout if you have a pre-Cheggars Plays Pop Keith Chegwin.
  7. Bought 2nd hand about 3 years ago. Good condition (has a few cobwebs behind the grill!) Gigged about 10 times. Comes with SWR soft cover (I also have a flight case for it, which buyer can have for free - but it does make things a little unwieldy!). Is missing the plastic corner protectors that were obviously removed when it was put in the flight case, but these can be bought if necessary and fitted. Weighs around 53-53 kg, but easy to move around with the tip back casters and handles. In a two words - A beast! Will handle up to 1000 watts - sounds amazing with my GK 1001RB. Only selling in order to buy a new bike! Details here: http://www.swrsound.com/products/search.ph...rtno=4410300010 [s]£400 ono.[/s] £360 Collection/delivery only - Surrey/London area, but willing to drive and meet of necessary.
  8. Up for sale is my beloved Trace Elliot AH600SMX Bass amp, bought in October 1998 just as Trace were being bought by Gibson. Good condition - as only been gigged 7 or 8 times, and has been used for home use almost entirely. Comes with the original operating instructions, which can also be viewed here: http://www.21frets.com/catalogs/Smx.pdf This is a 600w RMS (2 x 300w amplifiers, non-bridgable) stereo amplifier, with:

12-band graphic equaliser (which is switchable and blendable);
The classic Trace Elliot dual-band compressor;
Variable valve/solid state blend input;
2 preshape eq curve settings;
The famous UV backlight (which can be turned off).
The rear panel has a multitude of options in terms of output and effects loops etc:

Full range stereo
Bi-amp mono
Bi-amp stereo
High pass stereo line outputs
Footswitch socket (for remote switching the graphic and pre-shape curves - not included)
Tuner output
Mono effects loop
High pass, parallel, stereo effects loop
3 x Balanced DI outputs (Pre EQ, Post EQ left and right)
Full range line outputs
Crossover line outputs
Basically, ALL the bells and whistles!! Looking for £450 ono Weighs 25 kg, so I really don't want to post this and would prefer collection/delivery in Surrey/London area. Would be prepared to drive a fair way to meet/delliver.
  9.
Dude i have really bad GAS for an original Kendal and some of the other 80s built grange hill stars,especially the ones with blocks and binding.Im going to stick my neck out here and offer an all original 60s call my bluff presenter Frank Muir,its the one with the germainium transistors,these original ones are extremely rare.By the way thats a hell of a collection you have there.Lucky sod.
Your in luck - I'm after a Muir to go with my vintage Dennis Norden. Willing to trade one of my 80's Grange Hill stars: Pre-CBS Scruffy McGuffy, with replacement Badass II bridge: Or a Musitronics (non of this Haz nonsense) Mrs McCluskey: Would possibly consider a trade for my mint condition Bullet Baxter with blocks and binding (original tracksuit and beard, Aguilar OBP-1 pre-amp replacement), but would want Muir + cash:
  10.
That Kendal is cool ill do a trade on obscure 70s broadcaster Robert Dougall
Thanks for the offer, but I'm after a Kenneth Kendal to go with any prospective Danny Kendal purchase - a double Kendal is worth a fortune in the US and Japanese markets, particulary with the original box and instructions: If I don't manage to shift Richard Stilgoe, Kenneth will be good company for him in the garage - they were apparently members of the same golf club (Walton Heath I think), during the late 70's, and were members of the same Lodge in Reigate.
  11. Generally Richard is pretty co-operative: If you ask him to "tone it down a bit" or suggest "hey, Richard, could you hold back for a few minutes", he's usually pretty good. BUT, if has had a couple of ports or has been on the gin he can get a little argumentative and bang on about "don't you know who I AM?! Finders-keepers was up there with Take Hart, Silus and Battle of the Planets in terms of viewing figures" You know, usual E-list star ego. YouMa's right though, these 5th-rate celebrities are pretty popular at the moment. I picked up a 2 for 1 on Simon Bates & Hugh Scully on an eBay auction last week. Been on the lookout for a vintage Danny Kendal. Not one of the re-issue ones mind, either an original or Sovtek russian version from the 80's: Willing to pay full whack, or trade for an original Roland Browning:
Can you turn the automatic music setting off, or down at least?
12. Yep - fully flightcased, with a polishing cloth too. I got OBBM to knock up some special power cables for him too, so you can run him off the mains rather than batteries.
Bump for your Richard stilgoe,does he come with a hard case?
16. Top bloke - instant bank transfer received. Highly recommended!
  17. Well, he was ungigged in the time I had him. Could hear him practicing on his keyboards in the garage most evenings, running through a few amusing musical limericks and vignettes. I could do a 3 for 2 and throw in a mint condition Bernard Cribbins, and slightly tatty Terry Nutkins (finger missing, right hand - nasty otter accident)
  18. Richard Stilgoe Frequent Dictionary Corner guest on Countdown. Former presenter of BBC childrens's show Finders-Keepers, and past High Sheriff of Surrey. Bought a couple of years ago on a whim, has been stored unused in the garage - never gigged, excellent condition. Great at word-play, lyrics and puns. More details available here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Stilgoe [s]£50 - collection only.[/s] £40 ONO

    Bass chorus

    Do a search for You Could Be Mine by Guns n Roses. Some fairly heavy chorus effect on Duff's bass.
  21. Hi-hat side. Every time. No exceptions.
  22. For info on Duffs bass gear, and a little bit about his basses, you can check this link out: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=4VN9vdwxw8M
