1.
What reasons are they? Moving onto another instrument? Guitar?
I too would love to know… maybe we can tempt you with something not bassy
2. Have you still got the original bridge ?
3. Is the original preamp still available ?
4.
Hello, Here's my babies MM version is a blackstone 2012 and the JJ version is a blackstone from 94-95. Both sound great, but I prefer the JJ version.
This '90s JJ is mine now. Available for trade if anyone's interested (Status Empathy 5 string or similar).
5. Oh, and it seems this particular model was made by Yamaki, not Matsumoku.
6. This is a model known as the Vulture B, made between 1979 and 1981. It appears to have an aftermarket truss rod cover. It was also available in a 2 pickup version, which was probably the top of the Wings series. (Actually an Eagle bass has been sighted, but it may have been a custom order.)
7.
MB1. Ride on Time! Black Box? Can't see pics at all?
You need to allow flickr.com to do the javascript thing to you I'm afraid.
8. What you've got are original Jim Dunlop Flush Mount Straploks. Warwick hadn't copied them yet in 1994. Oh, and the fretboard would be wenge. Great price for a German Fortress !
9. That's good news then As far as I know a '94 Warwick would have these :
10. Yes, it should be a removable, single action truss rod. €20 at the Warwick shop. You may have to remove the nut, though. I'd worry more about the displaced strap lock. It's a recessed Dunlop type. Relocating it where it belongs may require removing a wood plug, and hiding a big hole in the bass. I love that model too
11. Is that an 8-ball sticker or is it painted ?
12. No problemo mate, you were close anyway : the fingerboard is definitely wenge. Aaaaaaaaaand… bump.
13.
(If I'm not mistaken the neck should be ovangkol on a 2006 model.)

Well I bought it in 2007 and you can check the year by the serial number if you want, I don't want to foli anybody. Here's the officil site from Warwick where you can check it: http://www.warwickba...current_site_id
Serial number: G-127365-06 Article number: 1485390000BZASHOWW produced: 2006-07-19 Description: Corvette $$, 5-string Natural Oil finish Swamp Ash body Ovangkol neck Black hardware Q.E.D. bump
14. (If I'm not mistaken the neck should be ovangkol on a 2006 model.)
15. Most non-English-speaking countries use a decimal comma - together with a dot or a space as a thousands separator. Thus £1,350.00 = £1.350,00 = £1 350,00
16. Had totally forgotten this one... traded long ago, closing thread.
17. Transchannel high-end bass swap. Nice, honest and reliable fellow; everything went smoothly.
18. Is it this one ? http://basschat.co.uk/topic/166941-status-empathy-5-fsft-l1300sold
19. Trade pending. Thanks for the interest !
20. @ The Greek : the pics taken on the sofa are too hot for a public forum. @ stingrayPete1977 : thanks for the input. I realise I may have made a mistake giving a figure in euro. The usual asking price where I live is €1700 (that's £1400) or a bit more. I haven't been able to find a recent one on BassChat, but in previous years it seems the occasional SR30th sold for £1200.
