  1. Fdeck High pass filter/preamp by 4114 effects... only selling as I've invested in a DI with similar features. Shows an upright bass/acoustic instrument pickup the impedance it wants to see, and allows the removal of low end as and when required. Also includes a phase switch, Can really help tame a double bass! 9v standard boss supply powered. Pice includes UK postage.

I'm sorry to read this. Definitely contact your mortgage lender ASAP if you really don't think there is any other way.

Absolutely... taking the weekend to assess things at the moment. The only certainty is that the dog'll be getting a lot of long walks (shutdown allowing...)

  3. Two tours wiped out today.. one UK and one Europe, and my only significant source of income over the next 2 months. Same story for a few of my friends. Not really sure where to go from here, nor how the mortgage is getting paid! Maybe the YouTube musicians have got it right...

  4. Having had one, I’d actually recommend getting something like a backbeat... the haptic feedback resonates some bass through your body, and even without headphones you can hear the notes you’re playing. You can sit in front of the tv, feel like you’re playing quite loud and not bother anyone!

It also means that money has gone on something useful for gigs, and with its aux input it’s a great practice tool too. Just an alternative thought!

  5. Gigged both a number of times with a tonehammer 500 head. Personally I find the DB410 a far more enjoyable cab to use, but it's certainly heavier and chunkier. I did like the SL but found it a bit weak in comparison. I actually now use the Fender Neo 410, as I found it to be similar in tone and dimensions to the DB, but a similar weight to the SL!

  6. Performed with a couple of my favourite local bassists behind me... trying to pretend they arn't there! This is a track I've always wanted to do!

@Quatschmacher Have you considered any of the Behringer offerings? Looks like the Deepmind 6 could be a useful tool for us lot!

  7. I'm selling my Sub Phatty (new in June), having fully bitten the bug and gone for the 37 key Subsequent. Heavy duty case from Trifibre, and the Phatty itself is in very good condition. Will be accompanied by a dropbox full of purchased, tweaked and borrowed patches and all the software required to get it up and running, plus a transfer of the remaining warranty. I'm sure we can arrange postage, but I'd certainly prefer to organise a handover in person if possible! Postage would be £26 with Eurosender fully covered. No trades I'm afraid!

I was told by a reliable source that the celebrities pre-record their tracks and then it’s backing dancers in the costumes until the ‘big reveal’ when the celebrities finally don the outfits.

You can hear the autotune giving them a fight during the masked ‘performances’...

    Strangely mesmerising though!

    How you get on?

Works really well... I wasn't ampless but it's a venue commonly known for being really dry and quite hard to get a good feel on stage. Certainly gives you an amp-like feeling, preferable a little to the Woojer I had previously, largely in where it sits on you. Missed it when I turned it down briefly!
