Custom wound early 60s style pickup, made with alnico 5 magnetic polepieces on the three lower strings for a tighter bass response, and alnico 2 magnetic polepieces on the three higher strings for a sweeter treble response.   11. Yeah, i sprayed Shoreline Gold on the underside of the clear pickguard, to conceal the control cavity. After doing that, I also applied copper shielding tape on that area of the pickguard, to assist with the control cavity screening.

  16. The nut width is 42mm according to my little metal ruler The neck is a typical vintage style P-Bass feel, NOT baseball bat chunky. The neck depth at the first fret is around 23mm The weight according to my kitchen scales is 8.15 lbs. I'll update the listing specs to show this
