  2. Hi there, thanks for the kind words! I used the pearl hold backed Paisley paper from Rothko and Frost https://rothkoandfrost.com/products/pearl-gold-backed-pink-paisley-paper-guitar-body-decal-690x480mm?variant=44344246337823 There was no problem applying the paper on the forearm chamfer. The most difficult part is smoothing the paper to blend into the body edge contours, especially when applying the nitrocellulose lacquer. I'm about to start on a Jazz bass next (flamed maple neck with rosewood board). I'll ne using silver backed Paisley paper this time. https://rothkoandfrost.com/products/silver-backed-pink-paisley-paper-guitar-body-decal-690x480mm?variant=44344252891423 I'll post pics of the various build stages as the work progresses.

  16. The Stinger pickup sounds so good, that I fitted it in the Seafoam Green P-Bass, my 2 tone burst bass, and i have a spare pickup in my spares stash. The pickup is expensive (cost me around £185 including import taxes, but when you find something which works so well, you want to use it over and over again.
