4. I've just got my hands on a rickenbacker 4003 in like new condition, it has the ric-o-sound twin output and I the push pull vintage knob, I know very little about these basses so am looking for some guidance. So some info on how much it's worth would be great
5. Oh and it's got the rick-o-sound twin output thing going on
6. I've got a rickenbacker 4003 in new condition that I just got in a trade, it's a stunning bass but I need to know what it's worth as I don't know if I'll be keeping it
7.
I think that should be 'calipers'..? As worn by Forest Gump, in his youth...
lol you are right 10.21 post after a long day and predictive text on my phone doing the nasty on me. Anyway thats where i would start. At least you'd know the exact measurement then and look into it from there.
8. Are you putting a 90' crimp on the end of your string when you put it in the maching head? If not that could be the cause of your woes if not done correctly, and more so on low b's and e's.The end of the string will start to unwind in the machine head and the string will die and the intonation will go out in a flash. And you want as little string as you can on the machine head post but you do want to wind from top to bottom to pull the string into the top nut.
9. Stick some digital calibres in there(without damaging anything) and take the exact metric and imperial measurement that's where I would start. Digital calibres are about five pounds and are a handy little tool
10. For sale/ trade is an ashdown evo 500 4x10 combo made in England. This was my rig for a while but isn't used at all and has been sitting around so gonna get rid. Its a great amp and has plenty of power and some good little features. Its a bit on the heavy side but worth it for the amount of noise it makes, Its in fairly good condition with one or two little rips on the back but nothing major, I'm after £350 for it ono and would happily trade for something like a higher quality 4X10, or anything else you fancy trading let me know. Sorry the pictures a bit naff but its all i have at the mo as its stored at my old dears house
11.
I keep meaning to get good at guitar just so I can warrant get one of these
Lol I'm not all that to be fair and somehow I've ended up with one!
12.
Oo, looks interesting. Would you mind explaining what it all is and does?
forget the mac and the apogee duet 2 that's part of my studio and was sitting on top of the amp. The ashdown I use in general the Mesa has a powerhouse 8x10 to run into but that doesn't come out as much but is epic.
