  2. Passive OLP Stringray 5 String clone in very good condition.

£250 collected, Chorley Lancashire e or can post for £25.

OLP manufactured these licensed from Ernie Ball MM.

Great Stingray banger with a good range of tones available, actually gets close to a  Stingray sound well.

Finished in  lovely blue sparkle finish, which is difficult to capture in the photos.

    I believe the spec is:

    Features:
    Elm body
    North American Maple neck
    Maple fingerboard
    21 jumbo frets
    34" scale
    Black dot fret markers

  3. Warwick Streamer Stage 1 - 5 String - Broadneck

Now - £1399 shipped Mainland UK.

This is the broadneck option which gives a wider neck and string spacing than the narrower Warwick 5 String.  The spacing on this is closer to the string spacing of a 4 string.

Weight is 4.733KG on my digital kitchen scales.

A few minor dings and dents here and there including on the back of the neck– I have tried to photograph as best as I can - they are difficult to photograph but I'm happy to take further photos and send as required.

All works as it should – having had a try out with different strings including TI flats I know the truss rod works fine.  I've had it strung with a Low B and also configured as a high C 5 string.
A set up to meet personal preference is pretty easy to achieve given the adjustability of the bridge and nut on Warwicks.

  4. Overwater Progress Series II  6 String.

Ideally for Sale or would potentially consider a trade or part ex plus cash.

Open to most things in trade but no more than 5 strings on a bass.

    £1750 shipped Mainland UK.

Has served the 6 string element of my journey well.

Will be shipped in the case shown in the photos.

Good overall condition given the age.

Dings and dents are shown in the photographs.

Also to point out as shown in the photographs are some minor lacquer cracks around the control pots.

    36 Inch Scale.

    Weight is 5.7KG

Dates from late 80s or early 90s - no label is present on the bass, not uncommon due to the shielding paint used in those days.

Preamp has been replaced with a John East Uni Pre - the XLR connector on the bass is therefore not currently connected.

  5. Some slight change in colour in that area.

I've just taken more photos in different light to try and capture.

Of course, be aware the bass is 19 years old and has signs of use.

  6. Retrovibe Stinger ’77 Pre Amp.  Stingray Clone

    £70 posted Mainland UK.

    New and unused.

This circuit is based on the classic 2-band EQ circuit fitted to the original pre-Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray basses. It is powered by a 9V battery (not supplied) and all components you need are wired up and ready to go. Just connect your pickup and you are away.

The controls are Volume, Treble cut/boost and Bass boost as per the original. All pots are pre-wired as is the jack socket which also acts as a switch to turn the pre-amp off when no cable is connected – just like the original.

  7. Spector Euro 4LX in black trans finish, with some nice redish brownish accents which I have tried to capture in the photographs.

Dates from 2012, so still in great shape given the age.

£1350 shipped Mainland UK in flight case shown in photographs.

    No trades.

    Weight is 4.138kg

Fitted with Tonerider P and J pickups.

I tried many different pickup combinations in this bass as a different flavour to normal Spector EMGs and these Toneriders are by far my favourite.  Note the covers are loose on these pickups so you could change to solid black pickup covers for a more traditional, sleeker look.

Great overall condition, just a few minor rings as shown in photos, small scar on back of bass, some blemishing on the top of the 3rd fret area, some blemishing in the 13th fret.  All fairly minor in my view and shown in photos.
