  1. My experience of the MU for what its worth. I felt like I had joined the Labour party. The political allegiance towards Milliband and Co is way over the top and exceeds the remit of a Union for musicians IMHO. I'm non political and not interested in supporting any political party and objected to my subs being spent in this way, (to say nothing of receiving all the heavily laden crap about joining some demonstratative march every quarter). Most info concerning contracts etc, can be obtained free via the internet to anyone who can read, (and how many of us are signing multi million dollar recording contracts anyway!). A decent contract solicitor can read and explain the small print for you, if your that lucky, hell you could certainy afford to see one! As for the high annual subscription fee, that would easily pay for cover on any Insurance policy and still leave you with change. In essence as both a pro (and now semi pro bass player), I did not find being a member to be of much use or any benefit. Rant over.☺
  2. Hi Paul, I'm not sure why your not picking up my e-mails, any how in answer to your question I am in Liverton, which is on your way to Totnes. I hope you get this!! Kind Regards, Tom
  3. These are quality, compact, lightweight, and active speakers with each having a built in 300watt amp for the 10 inch low frequency driver and a further 50 watt amp for the high frequency compression horn. They come complete with handy RCF protective velcroed covers so that you can just flip the cover over to access handle, speaker, and rear controls, without having to remove the speaker. Can be placed on stands or used as monitors. Dont be fooled by the size of these, they are loud and crystal clear. Light use only, and in perfect working order. Slight scuffing on the plastic to one side of one cab. Ideal for a small PA system or for monitors. £450.00 the pair. (these retail at £400 each without cover). Collection from Devon preferred, but am prepared to post (price on postage TBA).
