Mark Bass STD 121 HR For sale is this as new, hardly used 12", 400 watt, 8 ohm, tilt back cab with adjustable tweeter, only selling as now surplus to requirements. I bought 2 of these last year and am keeping 1 to go with my 15". Great single cab solution for tight gigs with more balls than the smaller NY cab. Try out and collection in Poole, Dorset. Could possibly meet up. Blurb: This uber-versatile cabinet can handle up to 400 watts making it the ideal choice for a standalone cab, or an extension of your existing combo. Thanks to the wedge shaped body, the Standard 121 HR can be stood upright on its end, or used as a wedge shaped monitor. The warm and natural sound is tight and focused making the 121 HR ideal for acoustic and upright basses as well as electric. Here’s what Markbass say about the Standard 121 HR The Standard 121 HR is a 1x12" rear tuned ported cabinet with a warm, focused and natural sound. It’s a perfect choice for many stage situations as its wedge design allows to use it either as a floor monitor or on its side in standard position. With its 400 watts of power handling it can be used as a standalone with a Markbass head or as extension cabinet for our top selling Mini CMD 121P combo, it’s a versatile and very portable solution (weights only 29.1lbs/13.2Kg) that covers all of your needs and also ideal for double bass and acoustic bass as sound the of acoustic instruments is faithfully reproduced by this amazing cabinet. Comes with Realist copperhead pickup and will include another Fishman type pickup. Carbon end pin. Innovation Golden Slaps on at present but will include a new unused set of Presto Jazzicato Nylon Tape Wounds (£120) in price. A decent cheap DB with loads of character. Presto Jazzicato Strings £75

As new set, only tried the A string but doesn’t suit my Bass. Price includes postage to mainland UK. Presto Jazzicato Double Bass Strings With black nylon wound steel rope core Powerful dark sound with percussive punch and unobtrusive sustain Ideal for jazz pizzicato, slap bass and bluegrass Light tension From the Presto supplied details: The Presto Jazzicato Double Bass String set is a further development of our popular Presto Nylonwound string. They have an improved steel rope core and a black Nylon wrapping. Gauge: Light Sizes: 3/4 Compared to our original Presto Nylonwound strings, the Jazzicato strings have a slightly smaller diameter. But they still have this smooth surface feel, which makes them different to other steel strings. This particular surface feel and the low tension make the Jazzicato strings very easy to play. The powerful, dark sound, the percussive punch and the unobtrusive sustain give the Jazzicato string their very own character – ideal for Jazz pizzicato, but also suited for Slap bass and Bluegrass.

ASHDOWN RM500 EVO II HEAD £225 - *SOLD*
paddybass replied to paddybass's topic in Amps and Cabs For Sale

For sale is my Ashdown RM500 Evo II Bass head, only used at home for practice and a few gigs as a backup amp. A compact and lightweight amp solution with enough balls for most gigs. All works as it should except the headphone output which has never worked since I bought it from new. Just so you know, sometimes in transit you may inadvertently press the headphone button in and then on the gig don't get any sound output. Foxed me for a while first time I tried using it on a gig but just press the switch out and all is good. Don't know if it's just this one but when pressing the headphone button in I just get noise and nothing in headphones, it's not something I want to use anyway so never got it looked at. Amp is all good other than that, blue mute light works. Selling at a sensible price because of the headphone output issue but don't let that put you off, it's all good. cheapest I can see new is £459. Try out and collection in Poole, Dorset or can post in a well protected box at cost. Thanks. blurb: Now in its second evolution is the RM-500. The 500-watt power section of the RM500 EVO has been developed to maintain a deep low end, defined mids and transient highs delivering its output into a 4-ohm load. Ashdown Rootmaster heads are the perfect choice for working bassists looking for power and features without the weight. The Rootmaster EVO series’ pre amp now includes a passive and active input jack socket for use with high and low output instruments, this sets a clear signal path to the input control enabling you to fine tune your input level using the trademark Ashdown VU meter. With the signal at its optimal level, you then hit the rich features designed enhance your tone, such as the shape button, 5-band EQ and on-board compressor. The drive control, as always delivers a delectable valve emulated over-drive, whilst the sub harmonic controls add further fatness to your tone - both can be foot-switched via an FS 2 footswitch (sold separately). Rootmaster EVO heads also feature an upgraded power section plus a handy mute button. What’s even cooler is when switched to mute, the trademark Ashdown Engineering VU meter changes from orange to cool blue – creating the perfect on stage mood lighting between sets. For Sale, Sandberg California TM2 5 string Hard Core Aged in Roquefort Blue. It came with the standard Delano pick ups which I found a bit bright so is currently fitted with Black Labels. The Delanos are included in the sale if you want to switch them back. Active/passive. Fretted Maple fingerboard with no dots. 34" scale. Weight 4kg. Sandberg padded bag included. A beautiful instrument which I may regret selling but have something else lined up. Price from Sandberg would be around the £2400 and a long wait so this is a huge saving. Thanks.

A great experience dealing with Brian, he packed the Bass really well and sent it off very quickly, it arrived in a couple of days. Many thanks and recommended.
