    Just got a set of Newtone strings... never heard of them until a few weeks ago, and initial impressions are very good. Quite a bit firmer than my usual D'Addarios, but full, bright and consistent. I shall report back after tomorrow night's rehearsal...

      I use Newtones on my Dingwall basses - They make great custom strings that you can't buy off the peg too. Great service.
