  1. Bought Dave’s Aguilar preamp pedal. Super smooth transaction. Dave was quick to respond and shipping the pedal to me. Highly recommended.
  2. I bought Gavin's Kaamos Octave pedal. Great communication and super fast shipping! Just in time for the Christmas' gig. Great guy, highly recommend!!
  3. Man Thiago is soo good. I’ve done a lesson with him a few years ago. He is so humble and his approach to music is super simple and really focused on music rather than techniques. His talent is incredible. Thank you for sharing.
  4. This is such an underrated pedal. Love mine. Good luck with the sale.
  5. Here is a video I recorded to give you an idea of the amount of tonal possibilities with this mod. For me it is the best mod for a PJ, particularly for the BBP bass as I always found it lacked a distinct tone range. The best thing is, it’s all passive! The sound in this video is straight from the bass to the recorder.
  6. Quick update on this post. Please DO NOT follow the diagram I shared above, it is wrong! After many emails exchanges with Don from StellarTone he was super kind to helped me fix this diagram. I’ll attach a picture of how it should be, below. I also decided to change the volume pot for a CTS 250k push pull pot. In the end I paid someone to do these changes as I could not trust my soldering skills. If you are good with soldering that’s a no brainer mod. I think it’s totally worth the investment. Please see the links for all the components used: Volume push pull pot https://ebay.us/m/eK4hvR CTS blend pot https://ebay.us/m/OQenuP ToneStyler Bass 10 https://www.bassdirect.co.uk/product/stellartone-tonestyler-bass-ten/ Note: The series mode only works as both pickups on, and if you have the bridge pickup soloed it will mute the bass. So for Series sound you have to have the blend at center or at neck pickup. Correct wiring diagram:
  7. @jonno1981 I’m sure you can follow the same approach, in your case instead of the blend you have a switch. To have it like mine you just need to change your volume pot for a push/pull pot. If you decide to install the ToneStyler it will be super straightforward too. Looking at the wiring for the 414 you will need to re-wire the bridge pickup to the new vol pot and then from the vol pot to the pick up selector. I’ll attached the diagram that Don from StellarTone helped me produce. Important to note that in this wiring configuration, when in series it always work as both pickups on, you cannot blend, and if you have the bridge pickup selected it will mute the bass. The pickup Selector will have to either be on neck or both pickups to get the series sound. I recommend you using the CTS 250k pot https://ebay.us/m/eK4hvR You won’t need this but for anyone interested this is the blend pot I’ve used: https://ebay.us/m/OQenuP I purchased the ToneStyler from Bassdirect but if you buy directly from StellarTone they also sell the CTS pots. Wiring diagrams. The top is the one I’ve used and the second one is for your bass. You just have to compare your switch to the blend pot and follow the other wires connections.
  8. Hi all, I have a BBP35 that I absolutely love. There was just one thing that kinda bothered me with the bass and it was the tone knob (pot). It is not bad at all but, for me it always felt like almost as an On/Off thing. From all the way off, If I turned it more than 15% it was just high frequency with little difference to my ears. I thought I had a bad one but, I’ve heard the same from other owners too. After many emails exchange with the guys from StellarTone I decided to change it and I think I did one of the best mods you can make to these PJ style basses. The Vol, vol, tone was swapped for a Vol with push/pull for series parallel, a blend and a ToneStyler bass 10 tone pot. The bass completely changed and has a vast array of tonal possibilities, best thing it is all passive! I’ve recorded a quick video demo. If you are interested please let me know and I’ll share more detail.
  9. I bought Patrick’s Warwick. Super easy transaction great communication and he was super kind to agree for me to collect the bass on a Saturday at 7AM! Highly recommend.
  10. Thank you for the advice @itu 🙏
  11. Hey everyone! I’m planning to rewire my Yamaha BBP35 (PJ configuration) and would love to get some feedback from those more experienced with bass wiring. Here’s what I’m aiming for: Volume: 250K push-pull pot (for series/parallel switching between P and J pickups) Blend: CTS EP-6386-000 500K MN taper pot Tone: ToneStyler Bass 10 My goal is to have: • Push in → pickups in parallel (standard PJ setup) • Pull up → pickups in series (fatter, more powerful tone) I’ve drawn up a wiring diagram showing how I think everything should connect, and I’ll include some photos of the pots I’m using. Before I start soldering, I’d really appreciate any feedback or corrections, especially around: • Whether my series/parallel switch wiring looks correct given both pickups only have two wires • How best to ground the blend pot and push-pull pot to avoid hum • Any other improvements or common pitfalls I should watch out for Thanks in advance for taking the time to look! I know a few of you have done similar PJ rewires, and I’d love to learn from your experience. 🙏
  12. Just bought a Pedalnetics for my Line6 HX from John. The device is in perfect condition and John is a great person to deal with. Amazing communication, fast shipping and super well packed. I couldn’t be be happier. Highly recommend!
  13. I have one of these and it’s one of my favorite basses. I don’t think I’ll ever sell mine. They are very rare to find. Whoever buys, will enjoy it very much. Good luck with the sale.
  14. Such a bargain for an instrument of this quality. I love my BBP35. Good luck with the sale.
