1. Defo a Badass 1 bridge and I agree the tuners llok..Strange.
2. Brought it for my Daughter who's learning bass at school, She's currently using my Crafter Acoustic, but it's the wrong colour!!!!. Saw this and thought hey £60.00 whats to lose. Not gonna be with us for a week or so. Anyone know anything about them?? 3. This Youtube link made me shed a tear. Those with a weak stomach beware http://youtube.com/watch?v=_uXJL3w2rH0
4.
They're £200 cheaper at Coda Music than the Bass Centre. I'm very tempted! http://www.coda-music.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=27_128
£200.00 cheaper Oh dear Stevenage here I come!!!!
5. Saw them on the Bass Centre site a while ago and posted..Basiclly they were slagged of coz of price, Do you think they are worth the money? I'm tempted (what's new) promised my daughter a Bass guitar (she's borrowing my Crafter Acoustic) if she get's through the first term of Bass guitar lessons ;-) (they were only going to do those things with 6 strings until I complained) and she has seen (well she thinks it's pink) a Fiesta red "no name" jazz bass on the Bass Centre website which I said I would get her (any feed back on those??)

Strap-locks

Dunlop. Got them fitted to 2 bass and Schallers to one. Look, ease of use the Dunlops win hands down (cost more mind). Seen Warwick one's they look very similar (and cheaper)
7. Updated, got rid of the ME50B (well still got it just in case) and added the OC3 and the Bassballs. Thinking of getting rid (well again keeping and exchanging )the Hartke and the BOD2 and putting in a Programmable Sansamp at the end of the chain so I can get my gritty sound and tone changes I get with the Hartke and BOD2 with the added benifit of being able to DI it with spaeker sim, Anyone got any input on that? 8. Big Muff and the little big muff are both fine pedals but your right they do suck out your bottom end. I use a Boss LS2 line selcetor, the muff on one loop and a clean signal or some times another pedal on the other and you can blend them, this gives can give you if blended correctly the right amount of bottom end and dirt ;-)
9. Bravewood Guitars is the guy, but I think he has stopped doing guitars to order http://www.bravewoodguitars.co.uk/
10.
Ebanol is a synthetic used by quite a few makes and is often found on graphite necks. There may be different types of generic Ebanol - some better than others. No it is not normal to be able to fell the fretlines whatever they are made of. But then again - it is a Squier.
Right answer "it is a Squier" :lol:lol It will suit me fine unless I really get the fretless bug
13. GREAT My Original Bass Hero and good to see the rig and love the red customshop Jazz. I've got the latest album but havnt really give in a good listen, which track is the fretless played on?
14. Strings: always go back to Rotosound Nickel roundwounds Bass: Fender Amp: Wish I'd kept my Marshall Major with a re-valve and a cab/cabs with modern speakers who knows.........but for reliability..Peavey.

From the Squier web site "Fretless Ebonol with Inlaid White Celluloid Fretlines, 9.5” Radius (241 mm) " Plastic Ebony?? heard of it before. Photo attached doesnt look bad from this angle but it WONT polish out!! Also you can "feel" the celluliod lines when you run your finger over the board, is that normal?? Iwtait..No fretlines tried it before F##king hard, this is bad enough but you get the hang of it after a while and it improves your fingering no end (Whoo theres a comment there lol I'll ask the other half ) Bass_Ferret...Knew it would happen, seen well worn fretless necks before, but not after such a short time.

Up Date......Well been playing this bass for a while (just home use) but the original strings are dead time to replace. I went with the roundwound guys, they sound a lot better. I have just taken them off to replace..and....GOSH....there is already wear on the fretboard!!! Silicone free polish nothing, always used lemon juice on rosewood boards before bit this is different and both wont shift the ...well almost groves on the D and G strings around the 5th to 10th fret HELP

Single or Multi

Dood, talking from personal experience things like overdrive and Fuzz on multi effects like the ME50B and Pod, there good but get a real Muff or similar there is more depth, range, feeling. To be honest I couldnt warrant spending large amounts of ££££ on rack mounted equipment, anyway isnt this meant to be for Hanson's benefit?

Single or Multi

I have gone back to singles, Had multi effects and they are very good but they give a "taste" of the real thing. Singles are limited but give a better quality sound but if you need shed loads of different sounds multi effects win hands down.
20. Played a 150 in Sound Control in MK, clean sounded OK but when I switched to Grind? really bad hiss and back ground noise, dont know if that's the norm. Would really like to hear about the 300 and if it could cope with a loud rock band, Is there a head in the offing??

Distortions

For just a breaking up / driven amp grind I love my ODB3 (lots of people dont, they say it kinda fizzes) and a little Big muff for OTT and Muse like fuzz but with a LS2 line selector to blend in some clean bass to keep bottom end. Hey works for me but the best ever for me was a splitter box one side a clean HH Bass machine 250 into an 8x10 and the other side a driven Marshall Bass 50 head and 4x12 with a Coloursound tonebender serious noise At the end of the day you gotta try as many as you can. Been thinking of trying Ashdowns overdirve pedal it's had good reviews
22. ......or Photoshop, Well it's photoshop but wouldnt that an intersting bass to play (headstock diving bombing BIGtime mind lol )
23. I have to give Andy a call anyway, got a Crafter Acoustic bass that needs a serious set up to make it more playable I would have loved to have a nose
