Yes, that's it. It very slightly darkens over time. Just trying to find some pics of my P bass build that I finished with tru oil.

Tru Oil would be my choice. Fairly easy to apply, looks and feels good.  

During the lock down, cheer yourself up with a rather lovely G&L guitar .

Great bass line, great playing, love it.

The LB100 is another Leo gem, shame they aren't recognised as such by the masses. I've not tried any of the Tribute range of basses but do own a couple of Tribute guitars and they are very good.

The part under the solo. Nailed it every time in rehearsal ( and properly too) but either fluffed yet it completely or ended up bottling it and playing the simplified version at gigs.

Problem is that there’s nowhere to hide so if you get it wrong at the start everyone in the place knows.

I seem to have got past it now but for years it was my bete noir.

If you're talking about playing this with the band that we've both been in, then it wouldn't have been your fault😂

I'm feeling like I shouldn't play any gigs until mid-late summer but at the moment that decision is being made by our venues (who, so far, are cancelling/postponing). Not sure how I'll feel if a gig in a month's time still looks like going ahead....

Who knows how long this is going to go on, or which venues will survive.  

My feeling is that we have a moral responsibility to cancel the gigs that are booked in for the next few months. Not sure my band mates are in agreement though.

Most Epiphones that I get to work on, are usually decent instruments but nearly always let down by poor electronics. My recommendation would be to install new pots, wiring, socket and capacitor and enjoy a much better sounding and a very much more reliable instrumen

Take the bridge screws out. Get some decent wood glue in the holes pop in some cocktail sticks, carefully cut them off flush. Put the bridge back in place and pop the screws back in before the glue sets.

Find yourself another repair man for any future jobs.

If you haven't already, then have a check of the truss rod nut. It may have worked loose.

On the days that I work, it's setting up, repairing, modding guitars and basses. 

Love his playing, especially on What Were Once Vices are Now Habits album. Rock bass with a great sense of groove and funk.

When I was repairing one of these for a customer a while back, I found an online supplier of those pickups. Can't recall the name at the moment, sorry.

If it turns out that you do need the pickup replaced, let me know and I'll try to find it. Or maybe a google search will find it for you.

The only time that I don't cut is when installing the G & D in a flat wound set. Other than that I install the same way that others have detailed.

I would probably use white spirit.

I would say that's enough, so long as you are definitely going in to the timber studs.
