Here I am selling a medium scale (32") acoustic bass by Aria. Its a tasteful beast with a stained open pore style finish with bronze stained binding (compliments the bronze strings) Comes with an onboard pre amp and tuner, so literally a plug and play situation. In as new condition. I love acoustic bass, but never seem to have time to setlle with them as my gigging schedule is busy. so pretty much unplayed and no fretboard wear. Not convinced shipping is a good idea. I have a box but not convinced the postal services would handle it very well.. Happy to discuss, or meet up (home counties) or pickup (free coffee! and nosey labrador).

Hi Here I am selling a Sterling by Musicman SB-2 in black. Stock these comes with the horrible big plate bridge and a plain white scratchplate.. Here I have changed out the plate for one in brushed aluminium which looks great against the black gloss (unmarked) body. I have also swapped out the bridge for the smaller pre 2017 EB style version. Its effectively new and unmarked. The pickup is spicy but as its a passive bass really gives a great barky ray-like output without the colour of the entry level pre amp of the Sub 4. I am pricing this to sell. So have y'self an SB-2 for less than the cost of a new one fully set up and ready to gig with some tasty little tweaks. Pick up from Medway towns area, meet and swap within reason, or i have a box to ship (at buyers cost)

The sb-2 is a great model in the G&L lineup. I love the dual volume approach and mfd pickups are great. GLWTS

Previous owner was me. Dumbass now has a name... Its an excellent instrument and the 3 band is a good (or even better replacement for the original). I may still have the original and am looking for it so will send it headless or the new owner when it turns up. Other than my F*** up on trying to fit an Aquilar pre in it (too big it apears) this is a great bass and the new owner will be pleased for sure. Build quality is excellent and runs a good low action. The Fan frets are reasonable meaning that normal strings fit (the x long scale versions mind..) rather than payson or dingwalls. Buy with confidence headlless is a gent and the bass is worth the £450 being asked.

Not cabs or amps ( i dont have room for this.. ) but will consider pretty much anything bass related as a part or whole trade. Ask! as the only options are yes or no!

The original pickups are Bart Mk1's that come on most if not all SR's. I'll need to refit them to get some sound samples. Its a three band like the ibanez original but way less peaky and its not prone to signal distortion. I have had a number of Ibanez over the years (sR505, BTB's, EDA905 and the premium series) and the pre amp is always a bit of an achilless heal imho and even if they work i tend to swap them out except for the premium but thats was a £1200 bass so ...

Not cabs basically (storage being the issue). I have a basses but never quite enough...

NOW £275 Its a Markbass cab, what is not to like? Pretty much brand new, never been gigged, comes with a cover in near perfect as new condition 15" main driver with horn. I bought this for a stage show project that didnt materialize (well at least not yet) for its visual presense as much as its excellent dynamics, and it's lightweight too. Specifications: Power handling 400W SPEAKER CONFIG 1X15" Impedance 8OHM Tweeter 1" DRIVER W/HORN TUNED PORT (REAR) Its pretty sizeable to ship but shouldnt be too bad as it is very light. Pickup/meetup is possibe. Trials welcome. Trades considered (basses rather than more cabs, but any offers considered)

I bought this bass a good while back with a dead pre amp and a little unloved. I have gone over it with a fine tooth comb, fitted a generic pre amp which is very good and has a better all round definition than the Ibanez stock one. It works well with either the original (ibanez) Bart Mk1 or as seen here some bloomin' expensive Aguilars (I paid £280 for them as a pair) Its in played but nice condition finished in a metallic Dark grey/black. No huge dints or scratches. Hardware is the smoke chrome type, but the bridge is polished up a bit brighter than that. Great action Loads of fret life left, nicely set up with 1 month old strings. So TWO prices (ibanez copy of..) Bart Mk1's refitted: £200 With Aguilars £ 325 which is still cheaper than a new one and has a big upgrade pickups wise.. I can ship at buyers expense or meet up within reach of the M25 for the price of a coffee.

Here i have for sale a well gigged but utterly reliable powerhouse of a cab. These come with wheels and trolley like handle for easy moving and loading. This has done over 100 gigs so has dinted especially in the bottom edges (i have gaffered these to protect them but full disclosure it seen some life). I'll redo the taping for sale i have decent black gaffa tape to tidy it up. Everything sounds great and is ready to go. I had two of these and broke the wheel on one, so have spares that will come with the sale, even though the ones on this one are the originals. Tech spec.. Number of speakers 8 Speaker diameter 5 inches RMS capacity in watts 750 - 999 W Built-in tweeter not needed Speaker output impedance 8 Ohms Stereo function no Bass reflex port yes Wheels yes Colour black Weight about 26 Kg Neutrik style connectors Has feet on two sides to can be set up tall like the pics or low if part of a stack for example. This is a pro level cab, can handle the bigger amps, not the lightest by a good size, will go into a small hatchback no problem. (it even fits into the boot of a Bmw Z4!) The handle and wheels whilst shopping trolly-esque is great for loading and unloading. Bearing mind its roadworn nature i have priced it to sell or trade at £275. Cheapest i can find online is £695 so a bargain to be had. I can ship at buyers cost but would prefer pickup or meetup.

Are the MFD humbuckers 4 wire (i.e can they be coil tapped?)

Fit and finish on these is very good. I have this in white and its a good bit of kit..can recommend.

This is a great bass. The colour is called 'rootbeer'. The MFD series of pickups is a Fender designed masterpiece. These tribute series basses are great value for money. G & L need more love than they get. Buy with confidence that you will get a great instrument
