Bought new late last Year from Andertons here we have my G & L Kiloton in root beer translucent finish over a Mahogony body, with Maple neck. Additionally I have added a hipshot detuner. This is effectively new (few light scratches on the scratchplate). Basically it like a passive stingray, massive output, great instrument. Nice little combo based around the 250 Blackline amp. n good all round condition. I have owned this a couple of years and it's great for rehearsals and small gigs due to the lightweight construction and Neo speaker. I have replaced the amp last year because the original had a short on the motherboard. Its a simple drop in so nothing to write home about. Dead amp (useful for spares if ever needed) comes with sale if wanted. Any questions please ask...

The clearout continues... Jazz offset 3TSB body, looks nice some light scratches on back. Generic jazz width neck, rosewood board decent no label tuners. Truss rod works well, action is good, frets are level and seated well. G & L high mass bridge, Jazz bass layout control, rotary dingwall style 6 position tone control. Pickups are traditional output great sounding and for the life of me i cant remeber who they are made by.. Bass plays really well, sounds good with good sustain thanks to the bridge. Great for a starter bass or for rehearsals jams or gigs. It works well but isnt a bank breaker.

My clearout of basses continues: Here is an early Chinese Sub 4. The early ones tend to have better timber in my experience (i have owned a couple) but scary hot pre amps. I personally dont like that, along with the big plate faux old school bridge so have swapped them out giving the bass a more contemporary look . Also added a decent scratchplate. the pre amp is a mojotone two band with presence control, or coil tapping (which i didnt wire it up for). A solder job to the back of the presence control wiring diagrams available on line) I have mated it to a closed top pickup, she sounds good and not so hot as to overdrive the amp (as before...) So effectively its 2 band, with a mid sweep at the moment. Paint is a bone white, completely umarked. Not heavy or too light at 4kg, really nice bass. Happy to Ship or meet up if practicable. Only reason sale is cash flow and storage (13 basses taking up too much space..). Ford sticker is removaable and doesn't hide anything!

NOW £1200 Deep Teal trans with great wood grain (ash) Sr5, Figured maple neck, frets are nice and meaty no wear I can discern. Some dints though nothing massive just a few little knocks around the finish none through to the base wood. Some buckle rash. Superb action, strung with Elixir's and comes with OHSC. Weight: 4.2Kg Comes with the original hard shell Musicman flightcase, all locks work, no cracks. Looking for a cash sale really but if you have a dingwall combustion four or five to trade plus some in cash please get in touch. Will ship expect about an additional £45 for the UK or if practicable can meet up.

This is spooky, just literally bought a FGN 5 stringer yesterday having only heard of them...yesterday. Bloody impressive, get build quality easily equal to Lakland offerings amongst others, can highly recommend. Matsumoko quality GLWTS

Either seliing singularly or a pair, brubaker brute 5 string Musicman style closed pickups. Five wire so tapping and serial/parallel switching. £70 for the pair, £40 each In used condition but still very smart.

Parts list Bone white Fender 2010 vintage USA made body (through strung so ‘may’ be Elite or professional series) Lindy Fralin pickups. Bridge pickup rewound by bare knuckle pickups to LF spec. CTS pots and cloth wiring Mighty Mite Fender licensed neck, ebony board with additional fret position marker on upper side. Generic through strung bridge Story: I started this bass about 10 years ago, building it up, and swapping in/out choice parts as they become available. I have had a couple of necks on there and it has never disappointed, great playing bass. In the last couple of year it has been set up with a mighty mite fretless neck. The neck is second (third..maybe fourth who knows..) hand and seen some action, I refinished it in Nitro and it plays really nicely although the truss rod is now quite tight. So not perfect but good to go. Doesn’t affect playability or setup, but pointing it out for clarity. The fret position markers have been added and ar only visible from the top The body is in good overall condition, few dints but nothing major. The Lindy Fralins are classic jazz style (as opposed to super hot). Cavities are shielded etc and there is no discernable 60Hz issues. All in all a lovely instrument Selling at cost of parts price basically (these trying times being what they are …) as a playing fretless, or whip the neck off and go fretted, both would give you a great playing bass.

It is a very nice instrument, Jazz like neck, lighter body than a fender, well balanced. The pickups on G & L are great, as is the hardware (love G & L bridges). In kinder times this would be staying put.

Hi Here is a rather unusual build I did for myself from parts from all over the place. First up is the through neck 'V11 guitars' body. Quilted facings, five piece laminate neck. The pre amp is an Audere Z unit. Pickups are Wilkinson. Machine heads are superb quality N.o.S Schallers, now out of production. When I chose the body/neck I decided on a hi mass bridge which meant dropping it into the deck of the body. The cavity is fully copper lined and the bass as a whole is tonally very wide ranging and quiet in terms of noise etc. Price reflects the cost of the parts only (in fact the schallers and the audere and pickups are worth the asking price..) Its not perfect but I have built it well, Its intonated pefectly and action is good. Few knocks and dints that came with the body (bankrupt stock i believe). Great project to take further ( i was considering routing out for humbuckers for example, or to drill through for the through body stringing that is already waiting on the bridge..) or it plays great as is. Balances well on the strap, currently strung with Fender Nickels. Width at nut: 45mm String spacing at bridge:18mm Scale length: 34" 24 frets Weight: 4.2 Kg Questions/queries welcomed, will ship using UPS insured, or meet and swap using safe distancing.
