    Lots of TKS love here. Had a TKS 112, beautiful cab, smooth and sweet, ultra portable. Now have a TKS 1126, awesome sounding again. Powerful, bit more articulate than the 112, has deeper lows. I have the tweeterless version and there are plenty of highs coming from the 6".

    Having being and still am an owner of a TKS S112 (in the for sale section), I do know what to expect in terms of quality and tone. Although this is slightly different totally I managed to get something usable. Cab arrived yesterday and I took the risk, didn’t even check it before I took it to gig. Thankfully, all was good. if anyone is in the market for a bass cab you jut have to consider TKS. Other than Bergantino I haven’t found anything to match the finish and workmanship. It’s second to none. Here is a snippet form last nights gig (excuse the bass face) and a big thanks to CameronJ for the cab, pleasure to deal with.

    Wow, both great reviews. I will check it out. I was a big fan of the Genz benz Shuttles back in the day, but moved to The tone hammer because there was more weight to the notes. Sounds like he’s got that covered now with Magellan.

    Range of needs, playing a mix of all styles really, 80’s pop/ rock, rock n’ roll, Motown, modern pop. Defo no metal. I like a bit of always on overdrive so I can dig it in when needed. probably a head to head dual!

    Hi, For sale I have this beauty of a Jazz Bass made in Mexico. It’s a great looking bass, plays well with nice action, and sounds ace. Had it a few years, fitted with Noiseless pickups, Active circuitry. There a few little chips/dings here and there. On the front of the headstock, there is seperation of the nitro glaze over the logos and branding. You can see this in the photos. Comes with hard case. Hard case has some slight damage as seen in pic. I’d say it’s more of a pale yellow than Fender Vintage White perception. £450 posted within UK

    Hi, I’m getting some bad gas for the Darkglass amp range. Sounds great. Always liked the B3k and was on pedal board up until recently. That said I love the Aguilar TH500. It always sits in the mix really well and a nice weight behind each note. Doesn’t sound weedy and thin. It’s a takes a bit of familiarisation around the gain, drive and master controls to truly utilise it. Does the Darkglass allow you to switch in the overdrive/distortion or is either one or the other always on? From what I’m reading doesn’t sound like you can have an always on VMT, then switch to increase the drive, sounds like it would be to switch to the B3k mode? Another question, on say the Microtubes 500 it says minimum 4 ohm’s. So I can’t use one single 8ohm cab? Anyone any experience with both? Rational for choosing one over the other? Cheers Tony
