  1. Check out SG Percussion. Handmade in the UK. Spence made my Cajon and I love it. Far better made than the mass produced ones I tried in shops. He has lots of options too depending what you have in mind.

*edit... Bugger, just read that his business folded 2 years ago due to the pandemic. Bloody shame!

One email list I'm on just puts a name in the email subject, nothing else, to signify that they've snuffed it. This has led to me having the occasional double take in BC when some bassist's name is the subject of a topic.

Still, I wouldn't worry too much about lacking empathy, as Annie Nightingale probably isn't reading BC.

Maybe it's meant as lacking empathy for those who may be shocked to hear the news? 🤔

Anyone ever seen a logo like this on a 65 L serial number Jazz , I’ve never seen it before

Even if I owned a barge pole...

Never seen a string tree that far north on a 60s Fender bass either, which makes me think not just a refin with a very wrong decal.

Must be down to the 6 months of darkness they get every year.

What the poll doesn't acknowledge is that during the summer 6 months of light, Finland has the highest number of Simon and Garfunkel tribute bands.

On a truer side of things, the Finnish education system gypsy's kisses over ours from a great height which will inevitably lead to a better informed populace of critical thinkers.

Maybe this is why they have to make a loud noise to express their angst?...and I'm sure the darkness contributes....🤔*

When summer is approaching in the Northern hemisphere, you could try moving to the southern hemisphere.  I hear the extreme south of South America is quite chilly at that time of year - I think they even speak some Welsh down there so you'll feel quite at home 😁.

  6. I'm in. Again. Never made it past the finish line ever, don't think I've made it past summer ever actually. Summer gets me all giddy and my impulsiveness definitely reaches it's annual peak during those months.

I've never consciously realised this before so maybe I'm in with a shot this year. Maybe...
