Hi Looking to sell this as I have recently bought I modified Lakland that I love and can only have one fretted and one fretless at any one time according to the wife! It was made in Germany in 2005 and is the passive model with MEC Dynamic Correction pickups and bell bass frets. I've been using it in both a Soul/RnB 8-piece and a pop/rock 5 piece and it covers the bases sound-wise for me. Currently strung with flat-wounds. Comes with original Warwick user manual, adjustment tool and finish polish, (still plenty left) Bass is in decent condition for its age. I've tried my best to photograph the marks on top of head stock, slight nick in back of the neck (which does not affect play-ability), and the inevitable indentations on the front thumb resting. Cash on collection please, I travel regularly so may be able to meet. I have a worn out and ripped ibanez gig bag that I will put it in for you to get it home. Any questions just ask. I have sold a bass on here before a couple of years ago (Fender CIJ '51 reissue precision in butterscotch) and my ebay feedback is 100% (haysy2010) if that helps. On the first page there is a quick quote facility. You enter the country of collection and destination, package weight and dimensions in cm. They then give you several choices depending on how fast you want delivery and then you can specify insurance. Try it, it's easy and I do not have any type of account. I thought if we both have registered addresses with paypal, then we both have redress if things go wrong. My ebay handle is "haysy2010" and I've got feedback on there (100% 85 score), so at least you know that. Anyway can't we ask paypal to hold the money until you receive the bass and then they release? I thought you could do stuff like that. Not happy about taking the bass apart, I get your logic but once you start unscrewing etc, finishes get damaged and so on. A good courier like UPS shoul;d be safe enough, I imported a Gibson guitar from Florida in 08 and that was flawless. Let me know what you think Chris

But think of early Rock and Roll 50's recordings as a guide to the sound. Lots of low end thump, top end is not really defined, at least with heavy flatwounds as I have it!

Ok Had some interest to my feeler question, so it's up for sale at £460. No trades please. Butterscotch, slab body, CIJ in 2005-06, great condition. Comes with a rain cover type gigbag. Would prefer collection or could meet as I travel a lot for work around the Midlands, North and Scotland, so get in touch. I'm based in the North West. I've used it in a Blues/R&B outfit but now need something more versatile so bought a Warwick for that. Currently strung with Fender Stainless Steel Flatwounds 55-105 for a nice low end thump and a low action. Some small (2mm long) indentations on back of neck which I have tried to photograph but don't show up well but hardly noticeable.

Hi I'm new to the forum and would like to ask your advice please. I am looking to sell a Fender CIJ 51 Reissue Precision in butterscotch (2005-2006 manufacture using the guitar dating thread on the forum). See pics below. I've added a thumbrest, but everything esle is original. I am selling it because I used to use it in a Blues/R&B outfit, which it was great for, nice thump to it. However a new band needs something more versatile, so I bought a Warwick. I would rather not go down the ebay route if someone on here wants one, but I'm not sure what to ask for. I've seen them on here going from £420 to £500 plus, so if I pitched it in the middle, say £460, would that be about right? It's pretty clean, tried to photograph some small indentations on the back of the neck but they didn't show up that well. It comes with a thin gigbag, more of a rain cover really... Thanks for your help.
