1. I dont suppose you'll be selling your Bassmods K6 too anytime soon?
2. I swapped out the Groove Tubes 12AX7 that was in my LH500 head when I bought it for a JJ ECC803s which loads of forums suggested. I was surprissed at how much I noticed the difference. The head lost all the brittle top end and rounded out and balanced the low end, great purchase for only a tenner.
3. Lanyard bought We're about to start using photo ID swipe cards at work so this will be worn pride of place round my neck everyday
4. Ha! I've got a lovely Hartke/GK stack that I gig weekly with so the Peavey amp was neither here nor there in the deal for me. But who knows, a dinky little amp may come in handy now and then.
5.
Why not just cut off the euro plug and put a normal British 13a one on.
+1 We bought six of these lights earlier in the year for the wedding band I'm in and just replaced the plugs.
6. I had a set of JX pickups for my 4 string squier jazz with the standard boxed controls and had to have a battery compartment routed as there was no space in the control cavity. I've just picked up a Mexican Jazz V that I have been after for ages with the intention of modding. I wanted to put a J5 in the neck and a 40TWX at the bridge and fit a twin battery compartment in the back and a BQC system. But now I'm thinking of just sticking with a set of J5s and the BCS system but still with a battery compartment. Keep us posted with what you go for in the end, I'd love to know.

8. Well, after months of searching I finally found the Fender Mexican Jazz V in Midnight Wine I was looking for. I came so very close to buying the same bass in sunburst but at the last minute this beauty turned up on Gumtree so I got up at 6am and drove to Stoke this morning to pick it up. Apparently the guy had bought it over a year ago to learn but only took it out of it's case half a dozen times. Apart from two very minor dinks on the back it is in mint condition and still has the plastic cover on the pickguard. It also came with a Gator hardcase, spare set of strings, unused Levy's strap and a Peavey mirco bass amp. The action needs a lot of love and it seriously needs a re-string but other than that it's awesome. And how much did I pay for all of that? Just £300, well under my budget so it's off to the pro for a setup and MOT. Now i just need to decide whether to go with a matt black pickguard or a white pearloid one? Happy Valhalalf
9. Tom bought my G&L Tribute L-2500 off of me. A really nice guy and pleasure meeting him, albeit briefly Enjoy dude!

12. Ok price drop time as I have been offered a bass but this is a firm price £360 inc postage
13. I really like them. Swapped a Jazz set in my old Squier VM bass and they sounded lovely. I'm going to get a mexican Jazz V and fit a J5 at the neck and a 40TWX at the bridge then couple it with a BQC system at 18v.
