1. Sunburst Fender Tony Franklin signature fretless Precision bass. I think it was made in 2006. I’ve had it about a year and will be sad to see it go. It’s a lovely bass with a terrific warm deep tone. The combination of P and J pickups and the ebony fingerboard really make for a unique fretless sound. Only selling because I just got a USA G&L L2000 fretless and I can't justify 2 expensive fretless basses (or at least my credit card can't). Only things I’ve done to it is fit a Baddass II bridge (I have the original if you want it), fit Schaller straplocks, and to lightly sand the gloss off the back of the neck, making it smoother to play. It’s in great condition – the neck is perfect, a little surface marking on the fingerboard from the roundwounds I have on it, very light wear on the scratchplate as you’d expect, and a few surface marks on the back down near the strap button. Otherwise it’s perfect. I had it set up at Jimmy Moon’s last year, so it plays really nicely too. This is to fit a Musicman, G&L and some Fenders. Not exactly sure which Fenders, but some info is available from here; http://www.basscentre.com/hipshot-d-tuners/hipshot-bt1.html Looking for £45 including postage. You should all know what these are and what they do. I've used one for years on a Stingray, so easy to use. Wouldn't be without one! Now need one for my new Jazz bass.
I'm new to this forum but would be interested in buying your Hipshot BT1. Do you still have it?
