Guitar Guitar in Corstorphine, Edinburgh has these. They look really good until viewed up close. The instrument was poorly finished and unbalanced, had the cheapo feeling, that was enough, I never found out what it sounded like. Find out if there are any suppliers in your area and check one out for yourself before buying, definately..

Unscrew the saddles, clamp them in a vice and file the undersides of them down, one at a time. piece of **ss

De-freting shouldn't significantly alter the value of a bass like that, so long as it's done properly. Although it's worth bearing in mind that fretlesses are harder to sell, should you not take to it. Try a few in the shops first, then decide.
