2. You could try the Half Moon in Bishops Stortford. http://www.bluesalive.co.uk/ I've not been, but might try it tonight.
3. I know there is a guitar store in St Albans. I was there the other day. Why not ask them to put a notice up in the store advertising for any like-minded folk to call you. You can then talk to a local pub and start one. You could also try talking to the library. They would let you put a notice up there too. I think it's the "Fighting Cocks" near the Abbey that has Morris Dancing sometimes? Try there, you never lknow.... Other wise there is one in Bishops Stortford, but it's a bit of a trek from St Albans.
4. This looks a real bargain. I'd love to have it, but it would bee to far to go and collect. A great buy for someone though.
5. I'd love to take it off you, but the timing's not good right now. Good luck
6. I've sold a lot on Ebay. Don't forget sellers CAN'T give negative feedback on Ebay. So the 100% could be only on things he's sold! I'd wait for him to do a Paypal payment. In any case £24 is a normal transfer fee for sending abroad.
7.
Hey Bouvier, I have an Eros Mark 3 (I think!?) Japanese Jazz Bass copy - judging by its age and the condition I bought it in (1996) it looks late 70's era...Funilly enough I'd say it has a much nicer sunburst finish than any Fender (I own Fenders', too, btw) and with the chrome bridge and neck pick up covers with black scratch plate I think it looks great - this was/is, I hasten to add, the first bass I bought and learned on! Pickups are pretty terrible but I guess that's part of the charm. Who knows, may be the same bass you once owned - FYI I bought it in a 2nd hand music store in Kings Lynn, Norfolk - I now reside in London.
I too have an Eros short/s bass. Mine's a black Fender copy with a white scratch plate, 1 pickup and chrome pickup cover, and a maple neck. Mine was bought s/hand in the late 70's. It's hardly been played, but it's got good tone. I'm new to bass and having upgraded I was thinking of selling the Eros, but having read this I'm having second thoughts. I'll maybe hang on and see if I like the tone it gives.
