2. So this is the bass i had before, its owner has put it on a local store for sale but i doubt it will go. he is selling it for 350€ with the hardcase im putting it here cause it seem to have some interest last week so in case anybody wants it just let me know and i will talk to him. to this price the postage will have to be added of course. photos here http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...t=0&start=0 to save forum disk space
3. no, its for sale as a copy, no brand told cant see it going anywhere since ppl here arent fans of copies
4. so out of it came nothing and the bass is now for sale at a local store
5.
Just to clarify, the picture of my old bass is the one posted by "hillbilly deluxe" in which the bass is resting on a blue cushion on a laminated floor. The pictures posted by the seller are presumably more recent (and are not even necessarily of the bass I used to own, though it is possible). Sorry for the confusion - free bump.
oh, my bad then, sorry
6.
Funny to see my old bass! This is the pic I took when I listed it a few years back.
might be smart to ask for new pictures, since these one show the basses state a few years back and not as it is at the moment
7.
Looked at a few basses this morning. Was really taken by the Ibanez SR300 but it maxes my budget so I'll have to see if they'll do a deal. What's the overall opinion of this bass? Reviews seem good. Slightly cheaper Ibanez GSR200 also very nice but the more expensive bass is certainly worth the small extra. Tried a Squire VM Jazz - did little for me. Nice neck, but heavier and the 70s styling puts me off (sorry, I remember it first time round). Anyway, I saw my soon-to-be teacher later and he said he wants to start me on fretless and will loan me a bass. Still, that gives me more time to look around.
Im getting a SR300 aswell, the ROM, been told by a Yamaha fan that it was the right choice i was thinking of getting the GSR200 but i was quickly called to my senses
8. too cheap too be non tribute yet a bit expensive for Tribute ones

11. cant you tell by the description he is talking about the scratches? they are lefthanded:P
12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=47tKorh9vgo 7.3 pounds, whatever that is... its the Yamaha A.I.R. thing
13. maybe admins can delete "for sale" posts that have already been sold and that money and goods have already changed hands, i bet that would free up some good space. also, the file size cap is 25mb, i believe 10 to be more than enough
14. he was pretty pissed and told me he had no idea, went on to say what was bought at the time, Vox head and cab, Pearl drums etc. the owner of the store asked him for either take the bass there with the proof (spellcheck) of purchase or send email with alot of photos and the scan of the proof. he told me he was going to search his basement for it but that he doubts he still has it
15. you can try musicstore.com aswell, the bass im looking at was 4€ more expensive but after i logged in it became 20€ cheaper O.o

22.
GSRs aren't the best basses but for the Money the RBX 374 and 375 are fantastic! Great quick 24 fret neck, comfertable to play look awesome! (To me!) and importantly sound good!
what about the SR 300? currently looking at http://www.musicstore.com/en_EN/PTE/Yamaha...-BAS0001672-001 http://www.musicstore.com/en_EN/PTE/Ibanez...-BAS0004525-000 but also looking at jazz basses cause i just loved the Fender i played
