  1. Remember the Bell catalogues from the 70's, still with the Rapiers! but also with the Ned Callans!
  2. Hi, are they collection only! or will you post ? Got the no tweeter one last week, and was packaged by wrapping bubble wrap all round and taped, leaving the handle exposed! great way of packing without cardboard, arrived immaculate condition (thanks Theo) Gaz
  3. Hi, this is advertised as a 66 neck, dot inlays, bound neck but has a 68/69 onwards decal and Gotoh 20-1 reverse tuners! I think maybe late 60's early 70's with a new fingerboard and new tuners! 4. Yes, I know but it usually the only way they could line up the strings! bad craftsmenship.
  5. A very high number of 70's Fender basses had misaligned bridges, with G strings almost going over the fret ends! The sixties basses could be adjusted as they had threaded saddles though, and the strings could be tweeked from side to side! unlike the fixed notch on the 70's & 80's ones, newer USA Fenders have 3 notches on the saddle!
  6. I've had it a couple of years, and its about 29 Kilos
  7. Hi, I'm currently downsizing and have a Warwick CCl Neo Pro 250 watt combo, it's the 8 ohm version so you can add an extension cab for 300 watts! It's a great portable gigging combo with castors and a neodynium speaker. PRICE REDUCTION Looking for £200 or px for a wee 1x 12 cab! Pickup only I'm afraid, from Glasgow, cheers. If it doesn't sell at this price I'll be keeping it!
  8. My first experience dealing on Basschat, Ian made this a very easy transaction, A pleasure mate, I'm sure we will probably deal again at some point. Gary.
