1. best flanger i've had is the Danelectro FAB Flanger. £20 and great sounding. Not a fan of the BBM but a lot are. If you are on a budget then what you've spec'd is all respectable if you have more to spend then it opens up alot of options.

On paper and the blurb the compact was exactly what i wanted. It wasn't but for some it might be. It fell down on the efficiency specs for me
Oh heck this topic is best 2x12 which is subjective! Lets not turn this into yet another basschat BF vs everything else thread. The BF 2x12 might be right for the OP, but it might not, suggestions are great, but lets not say 'THIS IS THE GREATEST' as it might not be for their tonal goals. Not everyone cries about weight! If the BF cabs are your favourite, and you are posting about them, why dont you own one?! Play nice...
This ^^^
No, the MAIN point is Maximum Tone. Minimum weight is not the main point. Alex and Russ are winding each other up
So its quiet and Heavy but sounds great

  12.
thinking about it that does make sense! ok so ill def get a big muff unsure what octave, im thinking of going with boss and an oc3 or should i try the mxr? andy
I've got the MXR and love its organic sound and tracking. Others will disagree! OC2 gets a lot of love
  13. I'd put the delay at the end but try it and put it where you like the sound. Falnger/phaser/chorus could be good and as has been suggested an Octave pedal is always useful
  14. might do. PM on the way
  15. Need to raise some cash so this is back up for £205 Delivered in the uk.
  16. bargain of the year so far
  17. i started out using a pick, then went to fingerstyle but some songs just need that pick sound so bascially i use both as required. Being Left handed and playing right handed i don't have a huge amount of speed in my right hand, so if its fast i use a pick

  24. Valve amps wil put their rated load into different ohmage eg 200 watts into 4 and 8 ohm cabs. The LB does as does my Hiwatt.
  25. worth trying a LM though as i use one for a clean, old school vibe. Don't the VLE and VPF knobs - very useful. Its very comaparable with my Hiwatt Custom
