The MAG is great but i'm not quite getting the sounds in my head i want out of it and most of the time i'm just playing on my own so a practice amp is cheaper to run (yes i am that tight!). I'm selling the MAG to replace it with something else, probably a head and cab of some sort but i'm not desperate to get rid of it at any cost. I'll keep it and use it on bigger gigs until i can replace it. As long as the practice amp can keep up with either an accoustic or a quiet electric thats fine by me. I'm not expecting to gig with it and would bre mightily impressed if it would hold its own against a drum kit, which it won't

Well i've just bought aNemesis N8 40 watt with an 8" speaker

i have got a MAG300 combo but it would be nice to have a mellow jam without it!

got this guy from the luthiers thread. Ironically i've been after a tech since i moved and this one is just up the road! Had my bass set up for the first time in 15 years He did a great job and considering the neck was warped the action is super low and the intonation spot on and the fret board super fast! He cleaned 2 of the pots and replace another. Really impressed - going to take my six string accoustic and electric for a set up Top notch service

I had a Laney RB1 which was great except it rattled at high volumes so the shop very nicely gave me a full refund and i'm after another. I need a headphone socket and preferably a Line in to connect a cd/mp3. I've been recomended an Orange Crush 20B but have not had any experience of these. This is likely to be an online purchase so I'm after recommendations Thanks in advance
