1. Sorry to somewhat derail the thread but this reminded me that I'd stumbled across this on youtube earlier and I'm certain his G string is slightly flat... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zjkFJkbm3vA Am I hearing things or is it just wishful thinking that the man is just a mere mortal?
2. For me it was my uncle's advice that I should try and use my fretting hand's little finger as much as possible and practise extending it. Crucial!
3. I'm tempted to own another m80, sold it in favour of the programmable sansamp which I could never get on with! Great pedals, the colour switch (providing it does still work) is a wicked piece of tonal weaponry! Best of luck with the sale.
4. Hmm, went for the start price. Wish I'd had the money!
5. Waited very patiently for me to sort my act out and send him the Harley Benton bass I had sold him. Great comms throughout! Deal in confidence folks. Theo.
6. Selling this for a friend who bought it with the intention of learning (I'll include a guitar lessons book & CD) but has hardly picked it up. It has been played for no more than 30 minutes. It comes with a padded hardcase that shows signs of a little wear - one of the 3 hinges has broken but it still functions perfectly well. Here's some blurb from their website: The Tanglewood Nashville TF-8 concert size folk shape acoustic This model from the Tanglewood Nashville Series of acoustic guitars has recently been voted the USA's top Folk Guitar. The Nashville TF-8 is smaller and easier to handle than a Dreadnaught, but with no loss of tone. The Spruce top and African Mahogany body give this guitar an excellent sound with a rich tone and sharp treble response. This guitar outperforms most in its price range, it even compared with some Taylors and Martins. Overall this guitar is truly astonishing value for money. Spruce top Mahogany back and sides Multiple bound body Slim fast action neck Die-cast machine heads Compensating saddle It's a really nice instrument in great condition, as new as I've mentioned (it still has the plastic cover on the pickguard and the tag attached to the headstock!) I feel £150 is a very fair price for this.
7. You could still swoop on this, still has 5 days to run on eBay. I'd really like cash on collection and could be willing to take near offers to avoid the hassle of postage!
8. This is still available... I'd really rather not post it...
9. Hehe, sorry to the other guys who showed their interest but I wanna do this with minimum hassle. I do have a defunct practise amp in my garden that's been collecting rain for a week though if anyone's interested??
10. Works for me, the earlier the better! I will be in from 4. Will pm my address...
11. If you're willing to collect then yes. When are you able to? I'm in all evening but out tomorrow night.
12.
I had one of these years ago. Cracking little amp.
Don't say that lol

14. It's with a slight pang that I'm doing this as it was my first ever amp but it's just taking up space and I don't have the know-how or inclination to get it sorted. Ideally for someone who is looking to have a tinker. Before it overheats (I think that's what's happening) and starts farting everywhere and cutting out it sounds great! I'll leave this up for a month or so and then it's going to the tip.
15. Linkage. However if a BCer were to offer £275 I would cancel the listing Theo.
16. Now on eBay!
17. Bit of interest but nothing firm yet. Will be looking to put this on eBay early next week so don't miss your chance to guarantee an excellent price for this bass!
18.
Great basses and as an owner of one I don't see why the prices shouldn't have gone up a bit by now. For a fantastically made 70's american made bass I don't think £500+ is unreasonable at all. Only paid £330ish for mine three years ago Shipped it over from the states.
Maybe I'm just bitter because I can't afford one
19. I'd love one and am watching this but I expect that the final price will be a lot more than they're actually worth. I think £549 is still a bit steep. One sold for £820 a few months ago!
